I would take the money and run and never look back. I've never had a problem with the said company, I've always found them to be really good payers and the person you spoke about at that company is an absolute gem. Maybe she was having a bad day (or bad few days) and messed up I don't know. Sorry to hear you have had such a kerffufle, but glad you have got it sorted now.

I agree with this. I do loads for this company and have always found the person spoken about great to work with.
  • Not sure if this is common but it's never happened to me before so just wanted to check anyone else's experience!

I have accepted 3 assignments with RE in the past few days - 2 of which were for the same retailer but at different branches and they were both for the same day. Just logged in this morning and they have both disappeared from my active assignments list! I have everything already printed and was ready to go - just as well I logged in this morning and saw this before carrying them out or I would not have been happy. Has this happened to anyone else??

Had you set an assignment date? If you dont do that then you will get it deallocated. Ring them and ask to have it back they are pretty good about it generally.
This was 6 months out of date so I've changed it.

I did one in London for React and took a photo of my Oyster card and said how much I'd paid for a journey. Wasn't convinced they would pay but they did! .

I've done this as well - I topped up in cash the exact amount needed for the day and scanned the receipt with a photo of my Oyster Card and it was fine. Much cheaper than buying a 1 day Travel Card!

Thanks - yeah, the assignment date for both was set for tomorrow. I did this on purpose as they are close to each other.

And from what I have heard, she is an absolute stunner too! Swooooon.

Oooh, just had an email, we can start doing the eau de toillette shop for ESA as of today, not wait until Saturday!

Unusual, as I said ring them. Most of the girls are lovely over there, particularly Ms Shuttlewood, for my money she should be running the place.

Thanks again - gave them a ring and it turns out there was a problem with the assignment notes. The lady I spoke to knew what it was about before I even had to mention the retailer - apparently I should have had an e-mail about it but nope ...

I'm not on Facebook, but the description I got was very very appealing. Having said that, the said person might be a complete moose, I've not seen the evidence, hahaha!

Is it just me or is everyone getting shed loads of work this March?
