mine too....I had two of them and I had planned what I was going to buy :(

Cant believe so many people have problems with AA - I have always been paid fast and in full and never had a report queried. I do tend to use them as a filler when going to other jobs but never had a problem.

technical issue I have just been informed. Getting put back on again over the next few days.

On another note. If anyone here has accepted a bed job. SERIOUSLY. send me a PM and I'll give you a better way of making the fee they offer by sitting on your bum. I'm mean REALLY.
I get what i want. That isn't because i'm a brat or spoilt. It's because i'm determined, i work hard for it and i achieve my goals!

Is it worth contacting the director now to explain my intent to take legal action if they don't pay in full after the next pay run, or wait until I've been paid to see what happens?

Don't make threats at this stage, contact him and lay out your case. Base your move after that on what reaction you get from him.

Thanks BUN and Jen :) is she more of an email or a phone call person?

EDIT: I'm guessing email would be better, as at least then I have it recorded that I made contact and what I said. Then if she doesn't respond to that, try a phone call.

Speaking of Assosia, do you have to invoice them for your work or do they just pay you?

Historically they sent you an invoice to complete and send back. Now it's done automatically, I think for all projects, but certainly the regular ones. Pay day is around the 15th, with money hitting the bank 2-5 days later. But they send an email telling you how much per project plus when it's being released.

Thanks, that answered my question before I asked it :-)

I was wondering that as well - did a couple of small jobs for them in February and was wondering when I might get paid and whether I needed to do anything. Will see if anything happens around the 15th.

There is one three minutes from my office door and I still can't be bothered to do it, mind that is mainly because the sales people in those places see so few people you can't get rid of them once you are done. It should be a 10-15 minute job and a quick report.

Oh and any tips to make money gratefully received :D

Good news! Just had another email confirming that I will be paid the full amount owed to me! It was a bit odd, she says she would have queried missing results at the time, but of course, this didn't actually happen :s

She also chided me for coming across as aggressive in my emails! I don't think I did, someone very !!!!ed off, yes, but aggressive, no. (I assure you there was no bad language in my emails - I made sure I vented my spleen on here first! I did say I'd take legal action if I wasn't paid, but that I hoped it didn't come to that.) Anyway, I replied and pointed out that if I did come across like that, it was because I was extremely annoyed at the way I had been treated - that is, not being paid when I ought to have been, with no explanation given, having to chase the payments and having several emails ignored. Also, having to collect the fleece sent to me in error from the Post Office depot and then returning it. I added that I don't think I'm unjustified in requesting rerimbursement for doing these things when I shouldn't have had to. (I resisted the temptation to say something about basically correcting the !!!!-ups that her and her company have made!)

Do you guys think it's still worth contacting the director to let her know about the trouble I've had? And that I feel I should be compensated for all the additional trouble I've had to go through?
