    aswMBR won't run.

I can edit the partition table on the copy of the mbr I have, and then use MBRfix to restore it - or that's the plan anyway.

I've had this on my computer at work for most of the week. The IT dept keep trying to get rid of it but it keeps coming back from the dead. Basically the redirect thing seems to redirect to sites that download even more malware. They have now given up and I'm getting a new computer on Monday as my computer was four years old anyway.

Hi both again, back to the first plan
    Download this http://dl.dropbox.com/u/37038000/aswMBR.xzyzx
then right click on it and select open and browse for a program, then search for that file again (on the desktop or in the downloads folder) and open with itself it may work (it does here but then again I ain't got the virus)

You can try it, to see if it works - It depends how the infection blocks the tool.
