If you buy 18 flights at £43.99 each in one booking, that's £9 admin for that booking with a debit card, so that's 50p admin per flight.

So realistically how many people do you know who book 18 flights at a time??

And also if they can do the 'admin' for 18 individual flights for 50p a time, why can't they do 1 for 50p??
  • I don't like the idea of paying a £9 admin fee for a single booking either. I suggest that people should look around and count ALL the costs before booking. If EJ is convenient and cheapest, I'll consider flying with them if not ...

Maybe this website can run an Easyjet booking club where people group together to pay just one £9 fee or will that be next on the list of the whingers and lazy who could not be bothered to research the money saving way!

Could you get that many flights on the one booking without the price going up ?

It also does away with the split booking advantages.

Yes, they operate a flight basket system.

    Wouldn't this be nice......

The MAXIMUM price you will pay to fly from X to Y is £z - that price includes your fare, taxes, admin fees, card processing fees, hand luggage, 20KG suitcase and a pair of ski's per passenger. Your price will reduce depending on card payment method and/or if you remove the suitcase and/or ski's.

That way, it will be easy to compare overall flight prices between airlines.

Of course, modern technology allows for the "extra" to be added/deleted at the first booking page, so there is NO NEED for airlines (and others) to operate the way they do - it needs legislation to clamp down on this one industry so all is clear for the consumer on page 1 of a website and not page 10.

Why would you need skis on a flight to Palma ?

The flight basket system means that you can add different flights to a shopping basket and then checkout and only pay one £9 admin fee.

If a business person flys once a week between Stansted and Amsterdam, they can buy 9 return flights STN-AMS in one basket and pay one £9 admin fee.

You'd be buying 18 different flight sectors.
