Not had a successful day I'm afraid -stayed in all day waiting on courier with cooking part and he never came so no idea what will happen now. Engineer supposed to come tomorrow afternoon and I don't have the part! New car wasn't delivered to the garage either - salesman is missing 3 cars from Friday and doesn't know why. It is supposed to come late on Wed now - sigh.

Sorry to hear that sheils, it's frustrating waiting around. We're trying to find someone to replace our gutters and facias. We rang a local builder on Tuesday last week, he only lives around the corner, he said he'd come on Wednesday to have a look and was a no show. Didn't come on Thursday so OH rang again and he said he clean forgot but would come the next day (Friday). It's now Monday and nothing. Wouldn't have him do it now if he said he'd do it for free.

I went to my walking Group today and had a nice walk and a hot chocolate with Marshmallows.I came home and made lunch,then read newspaper,went out to post a card to a friend whos birthday is tomorrow went for another walk and now I am relaxing,last night read all of the book Chomp as I was so engrossed in it,I couldnt put it down.Read it about 7.30pm and finished it at 10pm,I am a quick reader though.Well done on your win Jane and sorry to hear abou the car Sheils,hope you get it tomorrow.
