Does your hair affect how you feel?

I'm a bit piddled off today.
I had shoulder length straight hair a week ago and now I have layers all over the place and the front bits are so short they are practically just a long fringe.
I think it's a mixture of a cut I'm not fond of and a bad cut tbh. There seems to be bits that wont lie and are a tad longer than the bits next to them. And yes I know layers do tend to be like that
but there are bits that seem uneven and 'rough' iyswim. It's just not 'right'.
I'm quite a logical sort generally so I do realise it will grow and it's not the end of the world, but I'm really quite fed up and I'm surprised how much it's bothering me. The front bits aren't long enough to do much with so I guess I'll be like this for at least a couple of months till it all grows down a bit more.
I feel like I did when I was a teenager and went through the 'dye your own hair loads of times and have loads of bad hair days' stage.
Have you had any recent disasters that have bothered you?
It's a basic human flaw that you can feel so bad over simple strands of stuff that grow out of your head, I think. :undecided

Yes, I have no hair and when it's cold outside, my head gets cold.Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes.0

When I was at uni I had my shoulder length hair cut really short and I've never been so annoyed with myself. It looked awful, really, truly, awful.
Today my hair really needs cutting so is not looking too great either.... but I have to wait until friday to get it cut so am trying not to think about it till then.
I feel your pain!0 -

totally - I love my hair really short but can't afford 4 weekly cuts and hate it was it gets longerPeople seem not to see that their opinion of the world is also a confession of character.

When i was younger i had disastrous thick blonde streaks through my hair. I looked like a skunk.
If im having a 'good hair day' generally i feel happier as im more confident compared to a 'bad hair day'.0 -
I had to have my passport photo done yesterday, so washed, dried and styled hair, exfoliated and moisturised skin, full makeup, knowing that this picture is going to haunt me for ten years. Had to pay £5 (it used to be £2 when I used to pile into the photo booth with 3 mates on a saturday afternoon!) and then it gave me three chances to get the photo right. All three photos were awful and I was too tight to pay another fiver so I gave up and settled for the least bad one - it was just a total waste of everything! And yes, it does get me down.0
