Thanks HH, but the FOS declined to uphold my complaint about unfair charges etc. It was worth the price of a stamp but sadly, it didnt help me this time.
Will ring them I guess, see how I get on:jHopelessly_Hopeful wrote: »Sorry they are not on board yet
As youve already tried with them go to the FOS. A call works best, very easy, details in my twin, TTFTM posts
Let us know how you get on
HHxDebt Apr 2011 - a staggering £65171, ...so a 20 year plan ahead just like a 2nd mortgage!!!
Its going down, now £40k :happyhear0 -
Also everyone - another query, I have looked a Noddle and my outstanding balance is different to the balance calculated from my statements!!!
When a debt has been sold on, does that still show on Noddle?

How funny - just spoken with the Lovely Lloyds bank and they suggested I ignore the letter I have today received from them and a further 2 others that are in transit from the solicitor and themselves as I have an agreed repayment plan. A case of the left hand doesnt know what the right hand is doing again....Debt Apr 2011 - a staggering £65171, ...so a 20 year plan ahead just like a 2nd mortgage!!!

Been on our DMP for over a year and a half now and I am still getting calls from Halifax about late payments.
Feeling the pain of January blues along with the rest of you. I have applied for seven jobs within my company and think I have a good chance of getting something in a different area as my area is closing down. The thought of not having an income is very very scary.DMP Mutual Support Thread No. 421

A well known phenomema in Lloyds TSB, NatWest and I am sure many others!
If push does come to shove and you do need to get the FOS involved, they don't take kindly to creditors who treat different accounts in different ways. We had a CC and an OD with NatWest, the CC froze interest and the OD charged full interest. We argued about the OD for months with NatWest then took the case to the FOS who first said NatWest were within their rights. When we told them we also had a CC with NatWest with frozen interest, they changed their mind and went for NatWest on different approaches to accounts and we won :jLBM 10/1/12 ~ DFW Start 6/2/12: £82,344 ~ Now Zero:staradmin:starmod::staradmin Debt free 17th April 2015 :staradmin:starmod::staradmin

Do your company have a preferred option for employees under redundancy threat for open vacancies?
I hope you get something sorted out GUO.

Thanks
Higher or lower?
Sold on debt should still show on Noddle but it can be a bit slow in updating.LBM 10/1/12 ~ DFW Start 6/2/12: £82,344 ~ Now Zero:staradmin:starmod::staradmin Debt free 17th April 2015 :staradmin:starmod::staradmin

Just thought I'd pop on and say hello!
I'm still waiting to hear back from Stepchange about my DMP, I sent back the paperwork just after Christmas..would it be worth giving them a ring to see how things are going?
I had a letter from FOS about one of my complaints of PPI, I've had a good result and will probably get a repayment soon.. Wasn't soon enough to help me out when I needed it though!!
..at least it's payday next week.. And I'm glad to say I'm not worrying about anything..0 -

I can't wait for this month to be over .....
They do. These vacancies coming up in other areas are only open to current staff, so there is limited competition and we know some people aren't going for any of the vacancies, which means more jobs to go round. Trying to keep positive about it all and not worry about things before they have even happened but that is easier said than done.
I shall be really glad when this month is over too.DMP Mutual Support Thread No. 421
