Don't let the blighters grind you down, go get em Sister. Am so pleased you got my 1700th post!
Anyone read the new CCCS newsletter, new FF service and the lesser spotted lump IVAs? Had to check it wasn't April 1st. There are some other corkers in there.....
"There was also always the danger that the creditor could chase what remained of the debt later."
"We don’t negotiate as such, but we will listen to any counter offers from creditors and report these back to you and wait for your further instruction."

Hi everyone, its Friday YAY! I've had a rough week, was feeling very low about our situation, wondering if the DMP was the right thing to do etc.... but now I am officially set up thanks to CCCS.
Still a long way to go, but the feeling of knowing that we can pay all our bills and the little bills (car, dentist, vets etc) is overwhelming! I burst into tears when I realised we can actually go proper food shopping when we get paid.
I've also had my first letter from one of the creditors saying they will freeze the interest and stop charges until they hear from CCCS.
So today is a good day for me so far. Hope you're all feeling positive today and thanks for making me laugh (re-reading your earlier posts!).0 -
CBC - well done, it's a serious rollercoaster I must admit. I was buzzing about getting things sorted last week and earlier this week then I had a letter from a creditor saying they would only "reduce" my interest which set me back a bit. I've bounced back now and have written to them pleading them to freeze it or at least a minimal amount which hopefully will work.
I'm the same as you in terms of shopping etc. I get paid next Wednesday. All my bills, inc DMP go out on the 1st and then I'm sorted. Looking forward to transfering the months shopping £ to Mrs D3P0 and then what's left is mine to work out what I have each week. It won't be much but it will be mine!
Nice to read a positive post on this Friday morning!Have a good weekend.
