talisker78 wrote: »Morning everyone - its Friday, its payday and this is the first month since I don't know when (probably around 2006) I actually don't have to worry how I'm going to pay my debts or worry if I have enough money to do actually do anything.
No more credit cards to spend on. No overdrafts to sneak into. Nothing. Zip. Just a set amount of cash to last me the month. Its amazing, its wonderful and its nice to be living again! :T
On top of that, whilst Barclaycard had said to Payplan last month that they had rejected my payment offer, I received my monthly statement from them yesterday. They have frozen all interest, all charges and have said that my minimum payment of £13.10 must reach them by 25.09.12. Well, that payment is my Payplan payment, so they obviously have accepted it....why the conflicting accounts? Who knows and quite frankly, who cares. DMP has well and truly started. I couldn't be happier.
Hope everyone else is having a good day. Woo Hoo!!! :j
Great news

You are just jealous because you don't have a pink carnation and can't whistle The Pink Panther
Oh guess what Geek Twin? I had a phone call today from the FOS re M&S. No promises but they didn't seem impressed with M&S antics and said their minimum payment nonsense definitely did not add up on the statement I sent them. OK I admit it am jealous. My therapist said step away from the carnation, do not under any circumstances calculate how many layers on the flower, how many will fall by x time and what y % of your dmp will be left then.
Ooooooo fingers crossed re FOS.

He might have, but that's classified information. If I told you I'd have to charge you interest.:rotfl:

Yep we are bonkers but it's what keeps us sane ... well that and our geeky spreadsheets :rotfl:Has anyone had their CCCS payment taken out today? Just checked online and our payment hasn't gone out, could be as its Saturday though....
Ours hasn't come out either so it will be Monday. We often find that the date it actually comes out of our bank account is different to the date on the CCCS statementLBM 10/1/12 ~ DFW Start 6/2/12: £82,344 ~ Now Zero:staradmin:starmod::staradmin Debt free 17th April 2015 :staradmin:starmod::staradmin

We don't seem to have had any DDs taken out today! Daft as it sounds, I like them all to be gone so we can see exactly where we are with money for the month
