DWP Recruiting Again - 2012

Mine says:
"We are reviewing your results and your application will progressed shortly."
Apart from the poor grammar*, can we get them under the trades description act - they have had them since 23rd January !!!!!!!!
*Just think what they would say if you had written that in one of your competencies!0 -
I had three missed calls from the DWP this morning. They didn't leave a message but I have no idea what it could have been about. Very odd...0

OK, just spoke to them - they are looking at London applications this and next week so.....
Pass mark was 35 % (!!!)
Seriously no idea what to think about that to be honest.
If the pass mark was set so low, no wonder they have thousands of applications to look through and it is taking ages.....0 -

The lower you score the better, don't you get the gist of it when you walk into a Job Center? My sign on guy told me I scored better than him when he did it so I'm pretty likely not to get in now0 -
my one failed the test - tols me last week...LOL0

/facepalm... I did it... all wrong.............
It does make me wonder though do they really want to recruit highly intellectual competitive people, as I don't seem to get that impression at all from their current advisors... Actually I see advisors as socially awkward (too quiet) or loud mouths one shouting they don't want to deal with a certain thing, then there was one lady who was singing annoyingly and another employee told her to shut up lol.
Bottomline is the job centres don't come across as professional as you would expect from say a private company.0 -
Yeah - me too.0

just got my results by checking the feedback section. score 80%percentile. and recieved 5 out of... for each of my competencies.if theyre marking them out of 10im not holding out any hope of getting to interview! applied for tyne and wear xx
Are you an internal or external candidate?
My application still says 'Awaiting Review' (no competency scores) and I was over the 90th percentile.
Doesn't look good for my competencies!0 -

They started sifting the high scores first so its still advantageous to have scored more than 80% in that it's more likely your competencies get looked over.
According to people on here in the know however the competencies pass rate is quite low - it seems a lot of applicants with less than 80% are getting their competencies looked at too because higher scorers didn't have good enough competencies to fill all the interview spots.
It is longer but fairer for those who didn't do excellently on the test but have great comps, I'd rather it was fairer with a little longer wait than unfair ...I will officially have run out of patience if I don't hear anything back next week though :mad:0
