  • If it weren't for this forum, I'd be assuming by now that they'd binned my application without telling me I'd got nowhere. Perhaps patience isn't one of my finer qualities: I'd feel better if anyone external in the Birmingham & Solihull areas had started to hear a whiff of much at all. :)

I guess I should reasonably expect to hear either next week, or the week after. Crumbs!

Birmingham took the longest over the last recruitment! My new claims adviser this time round started as a permanent employee, the same date I started in Cov as FTA, and had made her initial application 6 weeks before I did. If they do the same this time expect to hear everyone else is in place before Bham!

Patience is definitely a virtue when waiting for DWP, but they expect you to act as soon as they ask!

Still nothing re the competencies for the 3 areas I have applied to - Staffs and Shrops, Black Country and Birmingham and Solihull. Very frustrating to say the least. Hopefully will hear something early next week but not holding my breath.

I also applied for Tyne and Wear but there is no evidence in my feedback section that my competencies have been marked.

Yes! No idea what it means. Anyone know if this is good or bad news?!

My application for Staffs/Shrops says On Hold; for North West it is still under review...

No I think I will just wait and see if it changes soon.

Just don't know why it's "on hold"!
