Btw.. I have applied in the South West region as I plan to move there soon, but am currently still living in the North East, how possible do you think it might be, if I do get through to the interview stage, that I'd be allowed to sit it in the North East?? I'm moving early Apr.

I can vouch for that information.

A colleague of mine applied and rang yesterday for an update, he was told the 35% figure as well, he has applied in the Essex and East London areas.

Your selection for interview is determined by a combination of your online test score and the score from your competencies.

Having been through this process before and my FTA as an EO, I myself used my same competencies as before, only dropped 2 marks on them last time, so hope myself to get to interview stage.

If i get in front of a panel, am confident I should stand a good chance seeing as i have done the job before.

I guess percentage is counted like this: Example

the marks obtained from part 1 = xx/24=
part 2= xyx/336=

3 x part 1= ( there is considerable 3 percent increase with each correct answer (weight = 75%)

1x part 2= (weight =25%)

total of part 1+ part 2 divide 400= xxx/400=estimate %

I applied for all the London districts, no change either. I suspect we will be waiting a while given that there were 10,000 applications in just one of the London districts...:(

Obviously i dont know what the sift pass score to get an interview is until the end of the sifting.

Thank you for that, I scored 86% so fingers crossed I've done well enough on the competencies!

It's wise to keep checking your CS jobs, as I was not notified that my competencies had been scored. They just appeared one day under the "feedback" part of CS jobs. Each statement is marked out of 9, with generic comments selected by whoever marked it.

Yes, I only noticed when checking CS jobs one day. The status of my application had changed from "under review" or whatever it was, to "invited to 1st interview". From there I was able to book my slot online.
