Received formal offer and start date this morning for West Yorkshire. Absolutely over the moon, got the part time hours I wanted, and my first choice office, start 25th June. So thrilled, can't stop smiling!

Congratulations!!! That's great news. Good luck & I am pleased for you. At least, they accomodated your requirements.

Still no word from North West, has anyone tried emailing for an update?
  • Got a letter from dwp this morning, opened excitedly only to find out it was asking for an overpayment of benefits back. On a similar note this exercise has taken so long I've had to sign on for the time being, but dwp won't pay me untill they get my wage slips for the last 3 months of part time work. Called them today because it's been a month since I opened my claim and still had no money and it turns out they have lost all my wage slips and still can't pay me.

Emailed the recruitment ppl several times to find out when il get my final offer and getting ignored. it's so frustrating that the departments failures are affecting so much of my life!

I know, I can't believe it. I understand part time hours are on a business needs basis, so I wasnt hopeful.. I told them the days, hours, office I wanted (on the off chance) and I got all three... Someone up there is looking down on me. I feel so lucky! :A

    And thank you Avacado x

Yeah I have tried emailing shared services for an update but have had no reply from them, I called the ladyat kirkcaldy job centre that contacted me before and she was very nice but advise the regional offices are only contacting individuals with start dates when they are instructed to by shared service. Not sure what is taking so long as am a current C.S with another department

When did you receive your provisional offer for West Yorkshire? I got mine on May 10th. Accepted and was called on May 11th to ask for two referees. Not heard anything since.
  • I've got a start date for Nottingham - 18th June..
handed my notice in today, so pleased.
Hope people don't have to wait too much longer.

Hi, it was 23rd April, I accepted on 25th. I hadn't heard a thing since then, only received my CRB with DWP cover note on Tuesday. What did you score in your interview? Its a few weeks difference isn't it? Hope you hear soon! :)
