Getting anxious waiting for a confimered offer especially when people are talking about start dates of potentially 6th June. I have to give 6 weeks notice, this shouldn't be a problem for my a start date should it?

Has anyone heard from North West yet? I got a provisional offer nearly 3 weeks ago but heard nothing since. I'm an internal applicant so no checks to be done. Just wondering if anyone else has heard.

HalloweenJack, that's now 4 people I know going to Newport, and only 2 of you ticked it. Looks like there's a big staff shortage there or they have plans for it! You'll be working with 3 great people from my old job centre, one of them lurks on here, not sure if he's posted though. I kind of really want Newport now, I'd feel left out if I get posted somewhere else!

My referees are yet to be contacted and hearing that others are getting starting dates is kinda getting me worried...

long time lurker but just wanted to answer you. My references got their letters last week dated May 1st hope that helps

Looks like all of B&S have been told today as my OH has heard. He didn't get his top choice but he's been given a location which is easy for him to get too. So he's happy.

No start date yet as CRB still not back yet

I'm sorry for the hysterical laughing, but I have finally heared my place on the reserve list for S E Wales!!!!!

Wait for it, yes I am 74th!!!!!!!

At least I can finally move on , never to return again!!
