Aah this is good if people are starting to get phonecalls, at long last. No reason why not if those districts have completed interviews etc. So aswell as refreshing emails and accosting the postman I shall be answering ever single phonecall, and heaven help any cold callers or microsoft scammers....0

Good luck to all those waiting for interview scores and offer letters.
Was anyone who was interviewed in Birmingham & Solihull told when they can expect to hear the final outcome. I was told Monday (yesterday) was the last day when they would be interviewing but can't remember what was said about offer letters.
Has anyone been interviewed in Black Country at all? Do you mind sharing your scores? Birmingham scores seem to be average but have no idea about Black Country. With 6,6,6,7,5 I am not sure I'll get an offer at all as my first choice is Black Country even though I was interviewed in B&S.
I was interviewed at Birmingham and they said that I should hear something by the first week in April. They definitely said it would be by letter. They made me choose Black Country or B'ham as my first choice and I chose Birmingham [I have also applied for Staffs/Shrops but that wasn't mentioned].
I haven't looked at my interview scores because I'm just going to see what happens - I can't change it now!0 -
Just an update on my saga. Those who have been on here for a while will know how messy this recruitment has been for me. Rang helpline yesterday to ask again where my home district is because brum marked me originally all 1s for application comps so I withdrew from there. This was before the reasoning behind the 1s was known. BC had also done the same. And put see B&S for feedback. Then Staffs/Shrops gave me 1s stating BC was my home district and to see there feedback for scores. Emailed recruitment from work and 3 weeks after withdrawing from Brum they gave me really low scores same day BC said I had failed sift. So after explaining all this to helpline yesterday was told shrops/staffs was my home district and should have scored me, second time I had been told this, application still says situation test completed. I was told keep checking emails for an interview date so asked does that mean I have one as they are all but over to which I was told they were going to contact staffs and I would know then what they were going to do. Also cov/worcs still saying app on hold. I withdrew from Black Country to make it easier for them as now they only have 2 areas to look at. Checked 3 times today I will still be waiting when they have the next recruitment I think. Lol0

OMG mommarat. That sounds like a nightmare! They have truly messed up there! I really do hope that Staffs/Shrops give you an interview - surely they can see that they have made a mistake? Even if they aren't going to invite you to interview they should already know that and be able to tell you!?! :undecided0 -

I asked, and the guy said that the final number is pending the budget for the new financial year.
I just don't understand how they could advertise all of these jobs without securing the funding stream in advance.. Surely that would just be utter madness?0 -

The only area to send me an email was BC and the didn't mark my comps just used the ones brum put even though I wasn't in the running for that area I withdrew from B&S middle of Feb they put low scores on on 8th March and the same day had a rejection email from BC. By the way for someone who asked earlier BC are interviewing someone in my office had interview last week.0 -
Also.. While I seem to be spamming this thread - I've applied to two areas, but have never identified my preference from them - how do they assign a "home" area? (especially concerned since my current home is in Cornwall, but am relocating to SE.)0

I believe home areas are nearest to your postcode.
Re Mommarat; I'm told some areas are already hearing appeals and follow up interviews from people with very disproportionate sift scores from more than one region.
Have you, or anyone else affected, appealed?0 -

I was looking at trying to appeal when the sift scored 7 in one area and a 2 for the same example in another but this was 'corrected' a few days later - lower scoring district changed scores to all 1s and refer to feedback from other district.
Wouldn't know what to do to appeal.
I have been interviewed for a district which is not in my 'home' area. This was mentioned at the end of my interview and I am not sure if this will affect my chances?0
