If the start date is April 10th then that's only 3 weeks away... A lot of places need 4 weeks notice. It's also a Tuesday. A lot of places would probably start people on a Monday...

The Monday's a bank holiday though

Easter Monday is on the 9th.

In future I'll keep news to myself.

    Kind Regards.
  • Just received my scores - 78888 :j

SO happy! Good luck to everyone still waiting on theirs!

Fair enough. I wasn't criticising, you sensitive sausage, merely saying it was odd. And I still think 3 weeks notice is odd. If I was made that offer my company could well say 'no, you can leave on the 17th.'

My friend got a phone call from Leics/Northants today. She has been offered a position in the Leicester or Loughborough office.

    She scored 37/45

Fantastic News for your friend!!! :T
When was her interview (just so I can judge a timescale to start staring at my phone :rotfl:)

Just need to hope all the districts are as quick as L & N :p
  • Had my interview in Manchester this morning, just to echo reports from others the staff and interviewers are really lovely and it was certainly one of the more pleasant interviews I've been to.

Just got my feedback and I scored 67687, not sure that will be enough but you never know!

Yeah, in the same boat. Went in yesterday, got 88775, 35/45. Have a feeling this wait is going to kill me! They told me it would be April/May before people know if they have an offer, but that people would know if they have been unsuccessful (?). I think this means your status on the CS website will change to either successful or unsuccessful at interview.

    April/May! _pale_

    That's a hell of a wait......

Oh well, I need a job ASAP so i'll just keep pursuing other avenues in the meantime.

Does anyone have any idea how many positions are up for grabs in the North West?

There looked to be 8 interview booths when I went in, so say there were 7 time slots per day that's 56 candidates per day, and interviews (I think) running from March 19th - April 4th that's 13 days (excluding weekends), means over 700 interviews?

    I did that calculation too!

I asked, and the guy said that the final number is pending the budget for the new financial year.
