Seems like everyone is getting an interview after all except me, I'm absolutely gutted:(

I am too, but at least you've got company with me: I very much doubt I'll get anything.

Congrats to everyone who has won an interview so far, I appreciate how much just an interview means in the current climate

Received some ridiculous 'feedback' (for want of a better word) yesterday afternoon for Staffs and Shrops (my home postcode area) - all 1's

Building Capability - Behavioural Rating 1

Building Capability - Behavioural Comment No specific examples provided Please note:- This feedback does not mean that you will or will not be invited for interview. Once all application forms for this vacancy have been considered we will then decide which applicants are to be invited to the interview stage. You will receive further notification to confirm the outcome of your application shortly.

The same pathetic excuse for feedback had been copy and pasted next to each competency!!

As others have mentioned, receiving emails etc with inadequate grammar/spelling and so on really does grate when you know you are capable of higher standards...I'm not being arrogant but I really don't think my competencies deserved a '1' each by any stretch of the imagination.

I don't know why their incompetency comes as a surprise, I know what they're like having already worked for them - I'm just so desperate for a job! Aah well, the recruitment 'helpline' will be hearing from me tomorrow...:D

I had the same negative response re Staffs/Shropshire...... all 1's 2's and 3's and if I remember correctly these same competencies got me a job with DWP last time. I am just glad I have a permanent job already - even though I would have liked to return to JCP as I really enjoyed my time there. Oh well it's just not meant to be.
Good luck to to the others that are in this area

I had an e-mail offering me an interview this morning and booked mine for 9th March. Just over a week and a half but I'd rather get it done.

BTW I went and changed my date from 6th to 9th and noticed that 2 slots had gone from Monday 5th but that all slots were still available for the remaining days - I guess there is more than one interview going on at each time.

    Well done Lorac05!
    Mine's booked for 15th March.
I think you are right - more than 1 interview will be conducted by different panels at the one time. Usually the ratio is 3 interviews per vacancy so it'll be a busy fortnight for Broad st JCP!
Congratulations to everyone else who got an interview too! :T

I have been following this thread for a while and found it very entertaining and useful. I thought that I should also contribute to this forum with any info received. I have received my interview invite this morning and have score 98%. Two other people I know, both for E London have also received interview calls today. They have scored 96% and 71%. No information on competencies have been received. The invitation states for 1st interview and its for 1 hour. I ASSUME that the interview invites are based solely on online scores and presume they must have drawn a line under a specific %. What it is we might be able to deduce from other contributors to this forum. All the required documentations were attached to the email received. One fact I have to say is that there were people in this forum who got enjoyment out of others misery by relaying false information. To those people, I can only say, it may be a bit of fun for you but there are a lot of people who look at this job as an opportunity to get back to work. Finally Good Luck to everyone.

I got 90+ and no invite for me to east london (yet?). so that line that was drawn must be very jagged

I'm glad to hear a lot of people are hearing interview news and that things appear to be moving at last. I feel like i am going insane though as I keep checking and still no email or update regarding whether or not I am getting interviewed.
I only applied to North Scotland and my comp scores were 55647

My status has been 'Application on hold. Thank you for progressing your application. We are currently reviewing your application and will contact you shortly.'

Does any one else from this area have any news..??

Not sure if this helps but I was just printing off docs for the OH when I saw this in the e-mail for his interview

-- If you have applied and been successful at the application stage for
more than one vacancy you will only be interviewed once. Please note
although this notification details only one of the vacancies for which
you have applied we are aware you have applied for other locations.
Your candidate status for the additional locations will remain "on
hold" until the results of your single interview is known. You need to
schedule a slot to confirm your attendance for the vacancy listed on
this notification. Your results from this interview will be carried
across for all vacancies for which you have applied and for which you
have met the standard to be taken forward to interview.

Right, interview in the AM. If I'm not ready now, I never will be.To be honest I'm having kittens here.

As the process has been smooth for me so far, I'm fully prepared to arrive and be told it's all a huge mistake!

I'm trying to reduce competence notes down to tiny bullet points to fit on one sheet of paper that will prompt me if I lose my train of thought.

See you on the flip side, I feel like the guinea pig! Should be home for 1ish if I allow an hour (my interview invite has NO time estimate, but as it's 15 mins past the hour I'm assuming 45.
