  • Is anyone on here still waiting for all comp scores. Still nothing from anywhere for me I was hoping something would happen overnight but no.

Update on the Northwest... They are hoping to have the sift input completed by 02.03.2012. The recruitment team will then upload the information onto CS Jobs & applicants should find out within 7 working days of the upload if they move to next stage and information about how to book themselves an interview. Interviewing should hopefully commence on 21.03.2012

From what I've heard there will also be an additional test at interview. This is for Northwest so other districts may decide otherwise. If you've got as far as interview stage then I don't really think this test should worry anyone.

As for the 35% passmark. this was always the case for the online test. If you got less than this you received an automatic e-mail to advise your application would not be taken any further. (Out of the 65k that applied about 33k got above this mark. It was then left to each district to decide on how they would sift further). So although you may have passed the test it did not necessarily mean you had got through to the next stage. This is determined by each districts sift strategy.

In hindsight and knowing a majority of applicants applied for multiple poss it would have made more sense for the competency sift to be done centrally, eliminating the inconsistent marking we are seeing, the results put on a central system and then each district to decide who they wish to interview according to their desired pass rates.

Good luck to all that have had interviews booked :)

I am in the same boat. Birmingham was the first to mark me 1 across the board. Derbyshire on hold and refers coventry for feedback. Coventry on hold no feedback.

I had all 1s from brum but have withdrawn from there now. BC stl shows 1s refer to B and S. Cov/Worcs on hold so is still on hold too. Supose no news is good news.

Well I received an e-mail at 11:09am this morning inviting me for an interview. What is weird is that the request came from Birmingham and Solihull not Staffs and Shrops which is my home district and and which finally posted my comp scores yesterday - but which had obviously been propogated from the original B'ham scores which have since been set to 1!! Confused yet?!!

Anyway I have booked an interview for Tuesday 6th March - interviews were available from Monday 5th - Friday 16th - but nothing on the middle weekend, 6 slots per day - 1 hour for the interview.

Still it's progress - need to print out the docs and go over my comps!! Oh and find something to wear - haven't worked in a professional environment for over 5 years. I have worked yes but not in an office!!

    Excellent :)

Now I shall have to see whether B&S send me of if I still wait for BC... can't help thinking the longer that this drags on for, the less likely it is.

I have nothing from B&S (comp scores all 1s, as expected) surname R.

I really, really want this job *sigh*.. sick of waiting now.

And also need to know if I need to go clothes shopping lol
