Im in the same boat. I did read earlier that some candidates had received there competency scores but im not sure if they were internal or external. Yes the recruitment team when ever ive rang do seem to give nothing away. Just so frustrating to read on here that other areas seem to be receiving lots of feedback and yet the North East has little.

No change at all in my application for around 7/8 days now and no sift scores for ANY of them yet.

The multiple scores of "1" that some people have reported sound very strange - hopefully down to system error, but if not then I can't help but think it sounds like the markers have just done this to get through some of the heavy workload...

Have you checked your feedback on brum and BC mine says situation test complete but that is where the feedback is showing 5x1 score

Hey I applied for the same 3 areas : Bham, BC and Staffs & Shrop and still no results under any of them.
I spoke to one of the sifters last week from BC and they informed me the sift was finished last monday so I suppose they are just inputting all the information on now.

Mommarat - I can't see how you getting all 1's can be correct. Did you say you got through a previous EO promotion, because if you did then you must know how to write competency statements and have some good examples.

I got through the last time EO for 18 months and now work as AO signing for the last 12 month I don't know how much more f2f I can be. All my comps were work related. I even had a 1 to 1 with line mgr before submitting so just can't figure it out.

I've been lurking, and really feel for you, as you can obviously do the job. I would be really interested to hear what your managers say when you go back to work.

Hi mommarat, thanks, yes I have been checking under the feedback link every day - not a thing as yet - so disheartening.


I know they've had a lot of applications - and when I worked for them previously I had to wait months to start the job - but the actual application process wasn't quite this bad!

Thanks Chrish - sort of reassuring to hear someone is in the same boat if you see what I mean lol!!

There's no difference or unfairness! It's just that the information on the feedback is unclear (no surprises there)

There are areas which have internal applications for existing civil servant employees as they think they can fill the positions internally. To apply for these you did not need to do the online test just the competencies and then each district had autonomy on pass marks etc.

For all the external posts everyone should be treated and marked on a level playing field.
