  • East London is supposed to be sending invitations out by the end of next week for interviews.
  • I've just got my results in north london - 4,4,4,4,5 - seriously disappointed in the results. im out of the running with those scores.

I still have no sift scores for either the Black Country or Staffs/Shrops - not even a reference to my B'ham scores which came through last Monday!!

Unsure what to think - if they do reference my B'ham scores they were 77676 which I hope might be enough for an interview but who knows. My feedback to those were very basics - either 'Strong evidence of meeting competency' for the 7's and 'Acceptable level of competence demonstrated' for the 6's!! So really not sure where I would need to improve upon them in respect to an interview.

There appears to be no standard being adhered to either with marking competencies or in giving feedback. Very confusing and I can understand why some feel rather dispirited and upset by the entire process.

    I doubt it.

Plus the fact that "skills and experiences" is plural; how can they then mark applicants down who give more than one experience?

If you gave two, each of which covering a different half of the framework they wouldn't - if you gave two which said basically the same thing, they would.

I just wanted to ask...in your opinion (based on your info earlier in the thread about some London districts not being sifted by comps), if I applied for all 4 London districts and also S.Wessex, and have had an invite to interview, but no comp feedback for any of these apps, that I should not hold out for any now?

It's just in terms of personal development, I think I would appreciate feedback to see what I could build on in future CS application if the need arose.

I don't think you should assume you're out of the running...there is no way to gauge your scores against others in the district, so try and stay hopeful :o

Keep positive, general chat on forum seems to suggest 3 and below is a no no. 4 and 5's are good.:)

As I said most districts are sifting comps but not all, as far as I understand it if you are offered an interview in 1 district then it serves as an interview for all the rest.

I suspect that is why when comps have been marked by 1 district and another sifter from another district is sees them they have in some cases carrying over results.

As I only know about how districts I applied to are sifting I honestly couldn't tell you, but my personal opinion is yes that is why you haven't had feedback and likely wont.
  • Hi all, just found this website so pls forgive me if these questions have been asked already.

I applied to London districts, all four regions, I completed the south London application 1st and got 92% which I was quiet pleased about. After completing the test, any subsequent applications I made for the remaining districts it used my 92% score.

I have jus received my scores for south London district competency and results are not soo great, does anybody know if the same results will be carried for the other districts as they did the online test or if each will be marked separately? I ask because I see people have posted their results for north and westlondon, but my results are not showing for these, it's still saying under review.

Any help WMD advice will be appreciated.

    Thank u
