I have applied to 3 areas and one application has been on hold for about a week now, and no change on the other 2. I am finding the wait unbearable.

Well done to those already through and good luck to everyone still waiting.

I was an EO in the last lot of FTA's, really enjoyed the job and feel what a waste of money it was to let everyone go and then recruit again within the year. Madness...

Those competency scores are excellent.

Still nothing today for me checked loads of times really peeing me off now. Im in West of England and Gloucestershire. I know Mazza1985 got hers through today. Anyone else got theirs through for this area yet?

I thought the interviews were supposed to be starting next week, Hardly likely eh. God if it takes em this long to get the results of sift out imagine how long its going to take them to collate the merit list for successful applicants.

Another day of waiting tomorrow and then back in work on Friday hope i hear before then

I'm reluctant to post this because I don't want to sound like I think I'm the best person who ever lived based on one application, but if people have done worse than they thought they should have done they could post their examples and let others pull them apart? It might be depressing but help in the long term!

Well done on getting such a high score.

Still don't understand why they mark down for describing more than one example though, they could have just excluded any additional ones after the first or simply stated at the outset that only one was to be described and they would penalise any additional.

I can't agree with you more. I'm a permenant band C in a job centre and it beggars belief that they have had to let go some excellent FTA staff and are now going through this torturous recruitment all over again. What a waste of government money, no wonder the country is almost bankrupt!

You done really good so obviously hit what they were looking for. Fingers crossed i only gave one example per competency and did the star template so hope ive achieved at least the required 4 although one of mine was a little weak i thought but i did use the method so just have to wait and see
