  • I think they are going through each application to see who they think fits the job description, and also if they have customer contact experience, I think that's why it's taken so long, they will be sifting one applicant at a time, anyway good luck once again to you all xxxxx

it's all a bit contradictory though, I'm sure there were more than a couple of people on this thread who said they had already had an e-mail invitation to interview?

ETA, sorry cross posted with skipps

To my understanding the invitations for interview were for internal applicants, for externals the feedback score, test score are being communicated as Soon as the Siftng process is done in each districts repectively,However, the ultimate results will be sent out on 20 feb. hth
  • The black country area is taking ages...... Must be hyper-competitive unless they took the weekend off to watch WBA hammer the wolves

Mine still says 'Application on hold' for Staffs & Shrops and 'Situation test complete' for B'ham & Solihull and Black Country.
    Still no marks....

At least yours is on hold; they haven't even looked at mine yet. :)

Mine awaiting review.. London is just a joke.. East London anyway as I only aplied to SOME East London locations... sigh
  • I had my interview (for an internal position) at the end of last week.

The interviewers had no access to my competencies before hand. Didn't know how the interview went, seemed ok. Checked my scores (they upload feedback the same day) and I had 3s and 4s, so rubbish!

That's my application for that one out of the window - still waiting for results regarding the external vacancy I also put in for, though not holding out much hope!

Hope you all do better in your interviews if your offered them!

Don't know whether it has been mentioned yet as I haven't looked through the thread, but there will be some jobs going in the Black Country, dealing with 18-24 year olds, at the jobcentre. They will be on the front line dealing with signings etc. The jobs haven't been advertised yet, but will be in the next few weeks, according to the jobcentre today.

They said that you can receive a notification of when they become live at https://jobsstatic.civilservice.gov.uk/csjobs.html
  • Ive just checked my application - I applied for Essex area. Competencies I scored 3's right across the board. Feeling a little deflated... I'd been checking it daily - they were quite harsh with the feedback on my competencies, even though I thought I did pretty well!! :-( Has anybody else noticed *Interview feedback* your application is awaiting review? Maybe I am still looking for a little glimmer of hope!!

Sadly if you score a 3 for any of the competencies, then you are out of the running. 4 is the "passmark" for each competency. I know this as I just had my interview scores, and also scored 3 accross the board (with a 2 chucked in for good measure!).

No, I am sure I read earlier on that a couple of external people had been offered interviews. I think they were applying in the same area - South East?
