La senza vouchers not being honoured !

As per previous replies you have no rights - they're in administration.
The best you can hope is that your bank refund you.0 -
When I went into the store today to buy something I was told at the till that my voucher was no longer valid but that I could phone this number: 0207 694 1109 to try and reclaim my money. However when I phoned them it says its an answer machine service. To be fair it was 8.30 pm at the time so I'm hoping I'll have better luck tomorrow morning. If anyone else finds out how to use this number to its full advantage please let the rest of us know.. especially me! Hope it's useful to at least someone
good luck everyone

Numbers starting 0207 694 appear to be numbers for KPMG, who are the administrators for La Senza.
I suspect they will take your details and add you to the list of unsecured creditors.
It depends on the assets that the company has, but expect to received pennies in the pound, if anything.0 -
As above, no point rushing to call. You'll be at the bottom of the pile of creditors anyway, you'll probably lose more in time pursuing it than you'll get back.0

Does anyone know where I stand on this please?
I had a £15 voucher and spent another £10 on line to buy from the wesite.
Delivery came on monday 9th (day of administration) and the delivery guy said 'sorry you cant actually have this, is says do not pass over parcel to customer and I will have to take it back to the depot!'
And since then obviously no customer service or any help from anyone. Delivery company wont give it to me and La senza doesnt exist.
Super anoying as it was a xmas gift and I had to put extra towards it.
had already been processed and packaged..." why on earth would they go to the trouble of dispatching and sending it with the courier to your doorstep only to tell you that you can't have it! Also seems odd as contract with you is formed at dispatch presumably...
Shame you couldn't ask the delivery driver to 'look the other way' for a moment!
I don't honestly know if it's worth calling KPMG but you could give it a shot...0 -
a friend works in a branch of these , that is the administrator number
form the abuse she has been getting from people I would say you should remember that they are only employees when going in the shop and its not their fault that the new owner company is refusing to honour themEx forum ambassador

please help, i bought gift vouchers for my daughters for xmas. When we tried to spend them, in February, the shop refused to take them because they are in receivership and was referred to head office for a refund. Head office offered me one pence for every pound vouchers. Is this legal????:(0

Yes. This is, ultimately, how administration works.
The company that sold you the vouchers no longer exists. A new buyer has come in for the business and made an offer to satisfy the previous company's liabilities - a percentage in the £. As long as those who are collectively owed 75% of the total debt agree, the offer is approved.
Once secured creditors have been paid whatever offer has been accepted by (namely, land owners) and employees who are owed payment, the unsecured creditors are paid what is left (after the administrator takes their fee) - and this is where you come in.
In all honesty, I'm surprised you've been offered anything at all.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -
Lots of threads about La Senza.
Here's one that covers most points.
Maybe use the forum's search facility to find many more.0 -
