Morning everyone
Love and hugs to those that are having a hard/sad time at the moment x
Dry and quite mild here this morning. DH up and off to work early but not stupid early so he brought me a cuppa in bed. Dinner last night was ham, egg and chips/jacket potato, tonight will be quickies as DS1 has Rugby training.
Work was a bit of a nightmare yesterday, was horrendously busy one minute and then dead but only for a few minutes and then busy again, the opening hours have been changed since last Tuesday and people moaning as we now close at 4pm, and of course it makes us busier in the time that we are open! I was cashiering and had a spot check by the internal auditors - she checked my till and I was right to the penny - she also didn't arrive until I was due to finish so I was able to cash up double quick as majority of the money had already been counted and double checked.
The fencing company are putting up my new fence today, spoke to them last night and they are arriving at 8.30-9am and with a large team as they have so much work on after last week's gales they need to get the job done as efficiently as possible - they are hoping mine will be finished by the end of today - yay, have my privacy back!
Was given my birthday gift from the team at work yesterday, some m&s chocs and a luggage tag and passport cover, we have a list of birthdays and we buy for the person who's birthday it is after ours prezzie has to be to the value of £10 - have always had something reasonable so it seems a good way to do it otherwise it seems like it's always someone's birthday and we're donating. Will stop off at the supermarket to buy cakes etc today, yummy!
Hugs to those that want/need them, keep safe and well x

Hope is like the sun, which, as we journey toward it, casts the shadow of our burden behind us.

JG tell Roo to hurry up! Are you going to name Roo "green flower" and hire out a bullet proof maternity ward a la Beyonce? :rotfl:
((hugs)) bramble, LW, beth, lou, all in need.
I'm just finishing my breakfast then I'm off to work. There are more people rota-ed in today than there are working computers and non-broken seats so I'm getting in 15 mins early to bag one. Management have relaxed a bit over Christmas about us talking and taking breaks and accuracy has actually gone up so hopefully they'll keep it this way, it makes it a much nicer place to work and the tension is slowly diffusing.
OS today: tidying and washing the desk and shelves, research aquaponics :j
I don't know what I'm gonna do for dinner as most of my items in the house tesco order didn't turn up last night :mad:Living cheap in central London :rotfl:0 -

Morning All,
Just caught up with yesterdays thread, sounds like lots of people struggling so hugs and positive vibes all round.
HH hope today is better for you
BB I have the latest book for SW so any questions ask away:D
JG I was just beginning to think you were MIA, a special cuddle always did it for me but I am sure you've tried that:p
Islandmaid I remember what your going through with your DD vividly, I honestly thought one of us wouldn't make it through, this too will pass, I promise.
Beth hope you had a good night
So feels chilly today but at least its not raining.
I managed to register with an agency for hm tutoring yesterday so hopefully some work will come from that.
Had a long chat with DH last night. Sometimes feel i let him down a bit cos he is such a busy, active person, always doing football, squash, running, etc. Were I am not:o I am happiest sat reading a book. But he tells me he loves me just the way I am and our differences make us the perfect match, just feeling a bit vunerable I think:o
Tea tonight Chilli and rice to warm everyone up.
Had a long phone call with DB and DSIL in Australia yesterday just asking questions about what and what not to take. It is great having a support network waiting for us, it must be really difficult for those people who emigrate and have no one at the other end.
Not much housework to do today and the washing is all up to date so might get some of my book read.
Have a good day all J xStarted Self Managed DMP 10th May 2017.

Morning all,
Had a good sleep so woke early feeling raring to go. I'm going to pop down to DD2 and continue painting her sitting room, it's not even half done and the place is upside down. She wont be there as she's taken DGD2 to play group then she's off to Mr T to do a full shop, Labrador No 1 needs to go to the vet, library books to take back and DGD2 to collect at 1pm. This afternoon she has a Dentist app so don't think I'll even get a glimpse of them.
I'll only do about 5hrs painting but should break the back of it.
Lentil soup out of the freezer for DH's lunch, enough LO chinese for dinner tonight so no cooking again for me.
WM and DW churning away.
I do hope today will be kind to you all.

gp said as the double vision with my dd and her earache may be linked she has opthamology referral and ct scan requested, so hope date comes soon, as Im a nurse in a hospice you start to think alsorts, i know its a precaution but my mind is still wandering all over the place.
ive got to have a quick whip around at home with duster and hoover after 5 mins on here with a cuppa.

Morning all.
List for ALdi made. Was over my sisters last night so got her to amend her Sainsburys order so I'll get a massive box of washing powder delivered to hers this morning. So I shall pick that up on the way home.
Dh at football tonight so myself & the 3 children for dinner. Will do the children sausages. I've got some veggie fingers in the freezer for me.
DW finished & the WM has nearly finished.
Bank account checked.
JG, hope baby Roo turns up soon. Hopefully with these pains you;ve been getting, you're in latent labour & by the time you go into labour properly you'll already be quite a bit dilated x
Bargain Bird, I have done SW lots of times. It;s really good & I know the rules. If you need any info let me know. I am not rejoining as I can't afford it & I can't stay to class with the toddler as he;s too noisy. [STRIKE]no more noisy than some of the other members though[/STRIKE]Plus I sabotge myself! I once reached target of 8st 9lbs. Put 2 stone back on though.
Sorry to all those I've missed.
Love (((hugs))) & spoons all around.
Lisa x
Got the heating off as toddler is always warm as he doesn't stop moving. I need to get moving to warm up. Well I will also get a cardigan on as well as that will help!0
