Do you use premium make up and skincare?

It all depends on your age and skin type, but I've found I can now do without toner. I use a high street cleanser then a high end premium moisturiser and night cream. I agree with pavlovs and found if you never miss cleansing and moisturising twice a day, your skin looks infinitely better.0

I cleanse with Tes&co Value Baby Lotion, and moisturise with olive oil. I can't afford all the fancy stuff.

I mostly use premium brands as well, but if I can find a good product that's cheaper I'm more than happy to use it.
For the more expensive products, I always search ebay and blog salesNo Buying Unnecessary Toiletries Challenge

My products are a mix of premium and budget brands.
I have tried many, many, many different skincare regimes and the only one that really makes my skin glow is Estee Lauder. That and Clarins Beauty Flash Balm, wonderful product!
As for makeup I am partial to Touche Eclat and premium foundation.Taking responsibility one penny at a time!0 -

i have tried cheaper ones and other premium brands and i just react and my face looks like its been burnt. its so sore and hot and cracked and peeling and very painful.
when it comes to skin care i think that paying a bit more for a good product is a good idea IMO. cheaper stuff doesnt do as good a job IME and you can then buy the cheaper make up as if your base isnt good then your make up wont stay on.
Funny how different people react different to different products...I was given some Clinique stuff as a gift years ago (so along ago I cannot remember the specific names but cleanser, toner, moisturiser) I was overjoyed at being given such a lovely gift, shame my skin didn't share my enthusiasm
I've tried all sorts over the years - premium, high street, budget etc and have finally found the skincare combo for me - Morrisons Knock Your Spots Off facewash/moisturiser/wipes and No7 hot cloth cleanser.
Make up these days is Revlon foundation and concealer, No7 powder, eyeliner, lip gloss and mascara, 17 under eye concealer, Benefit lip glosses and highlighter, Myface eyeshadows and Collection 2000 glitter liquid eyeliners. So a mixed bag then
And I would also agree with the comments about a regular routine being important too - my grandmother simply washed her face with soap and water and moisturised with Olay for her whole adult life, and until she became ill in her mid 70s, she always looked much younger than she was. She swore blind it was because she had moisturised from an early age, so I have always moisturised, right from early teens. I know some people think you don't need moisturiser until your 30s, but I think it's best to try and delay the wrinkles, rather than waiting for them to arrive and then start tackling them

I agree with alot of previous posters, sometimes its the routine itself which has the benefit to your skin, however I took a very bad reaction to Clinique products two years ago and my skin literally dried up and was flaking off my face, it was so embarassing I was not able to see any clients for work for a week until it had calmed down. I now use Dermalogica every day however am considering cheaper options out there to see if I can cut the cost!
I do often wonder how much you pay for the high end packaging rather than the product inside when it comes to make up - I am not bothered if my mascara is in a metal covering or a plastic one as long as the product inside works for me.Jan GC £242.38/£250

I've been promising myself Touche Eclat for years and haven't got round to buying it! I have awful dark circles round my eyes, mostly hereditary I think, even in photos of me as a toddler they're quite bad:(0 -
I would buy Touche Eclat tommorow it's a fantastic product. Sounds like you could do with some regular consistent beauty sleep AND a treat with this one day.#TY[/B] Would be Qaulity MSE Challenge Queen.

I am currently a religious user of Waitrose Bottom Butter at mere £3.
I am however extremely partial to Kiehls, Space NK, Aveda, Clarins, Philip Kingsley etc etc but end up barely using them because I am so afraid of running out of them. (must use up though as part of Challenge!)#TY[/B] Would be Qaulity MSE Challenge Queen.
