I use Clinique make up most of the time and am now wanting to buy Liz Earle cleanser and moisturiser as I had the moisturiser months ago and it was good and have had a sample of the cleanser which is also good but can I justify spending more on skincare aswell? Does anyone else feel like this?

Why not buy off eBay first or ask for some samples so you can try it in smaller amounts before committing to the more expensive larger versions.0

I get the Superdrug version of C&P & I really like it, to be fair you put it on, then scrub it all off. I use LE toner in the spritzer bottle which is very economical & LE moisturiser (the tall one) as I like a light one, the moisturiser also works out very economical too.0 -

Mostly I use 'premium' make up. Went away this weekend and forgot my bath bag which had extra make up and hair stuff, skin care and perfume in it. Felt like crying when I got to the hotel and unpacked!!!
Had to do a mad dash round a nearby supermarket and get enough cheap stuff to get me through the weekend! and do you know what...It was all fine!!!0 -
I use Simple face products as my skin seems to gleam with them.....and Benefit make-up as it stays on!** Total debt: £6950.82 ± May NSDs 1/10 **** Fat Bum Shrinking: -7/56lbs **
**SPC 2012 #1498 -£152 and 1499 ***
I do it all because I'm scared.

Over the years have bought some of the premium skin care products and cosmetics. Nice packaging, smells nice and on the whole did a reasonable job at a price!
Now use soap on face(very gentle sort, £10 bar but lasts forever)no toner, no moisturiser, no eye cream etc etc. Do wear a high protection sun cream(factor 50) every day though!!
Make up=Lilylolo for the basics(foundation/blush) and then run of the mill for everything else.0 -
I've got cheap cleanser and eye make up remover, Mr M's own at the moment, but I love No7 creams and make-up, that's as expensive as I'll go. Have spent far too much over the last week on their stuff, I'm having a meltdown about turning 40 this year and going a bit mad on serums and eye creams:o0

As much as I hate to admit this on MSE....
I will buy nail varnish from any label but love the Rimmel 60s polishes.
Liquid Eye liner & Mascara from the Body Shop (when an offer is on)
BUT....as for foundation and blusher, nothing touches my face but Chanel
. A work mate bought me some a few years back and I have to say it is amazing. I have tried all well known and boots etc own brand foundation but nothing cuts it like the Chanel, it feels great, it looks natural and it lasts so well. It's obviously pricey but I don't get through loads of it.
I guess sometimes you get what you pay for......
Edited - cleaner & moisturiser always Nivea though!!

I do have to moisturise, especially round my eyebrow area as the skin gets very dry.....I'm pleased with my new Protect and Perfect foundation though because I met a young girl when I was out on Friday and when she heard my age she kept saying that I MUST have had botox - or maybe it was the beer goggles:rotfl:
It's just keeping up the regime I'll have a problem with, I tend to lose interest very quickly:o0
