Is the sweeping of 'change' from your current to savings account only done on weekdays?

It's just that I have had a lot of transactions come through on the Friday but the change hasn't been swept yet.

I have now queried why I have only received £40 and not £80, as I had two current accounts on the go. Thought they might be staggering the payments but curiousity has got the better of me. It has gone to a Supervisor and they will get back to me. I double checked with them it was permitted before I got going and I have the paperwork with both accounts registered. They didn't want to commit themselves over the phone instantly until they had "kind of reread their own Terms and conditions" As far as I am concerned, they have agreed to it, and can hardly back track on what I have from them in writing. With their profits, they can afford to give me £160 over the two months!!! So I'm waiting to hear their reply.

We are in the same situation. Mine and my OH's current a/cs registered with my online saving a/c as designation for STC. First 40 quids hit in already, but we expect 80, not 40 :p

I believe that we are qualified for such bigger amount, as they committed a maximum of 40 per one person per month, not per one designation a/c.

Please let us know what the bank tells you so we could know if we should write/call them. :p

They tried to palm me off with you are only allowed one £50 per person, but I couldn't see it in the Tx an Cs. So I asked to be referred to a Supervisor on Friday. Friendly guy, who will now investigate and get back to me within 72 hours as they will be listening to the telephone calls I had with them, as originally I had asked if it was possible and they assured me that it was possible. If they have misinformed me they "will come to some arrangement" with me but if I got the wrong end of the stick, I guess too bad. So I'm waiting to hear from them. It's been logged on to my account. I've already hit the 2 x £50 for March as well!!!

    An update.
Lloyds have not contacted me, but as of today I can see the 2nd £40 credited to my account. Ist one was described as STC Matching Net, but this one was described as SCT ADJ. So £80 for Feb and hopefully £80 for March.

Yep got mine too. Now I think I'll open a Halifax account to get myself £100 there too! I love all this money saving it's fun. :T

hi kathy. you have to use halifax's switching service i.e. switch a c/a from another bank to theirs. i only have my lloyds a/c so haven't been able to do this, does anyone know if you can get the £100 just for opening an a/c...?

    thanks

BTW you don't have to close the "old" (in your case LTSB) account. You only have to let Halifax take over the SOs and DDs.

One phone call to Lloyds yesterday, then my a/c was hit with additional 40 quids as well. Very pleased now.
