  • Hi everyone, I havent been on this page for ages, I did find it sooo helpful when I was depressed and I have just started to update my page again as i can feel money becoming a hassle as I have now been living on reduced pay for 4 moths and all the kitty has now been drained, I have started adopting some of the things we do on here on my new start for a newbie page to keep me motivated. Thanks though you lot, you really helped me when I felt so down, its so good to have a sense of belonging when you feel so isolated on a daily basis. xxx

It is so lovely to hear from you Vintage :T

I too have received such tremendous support from this thread and it was my lifeline when I was really ill. It was the first thing I looked at when I woke up in the morning (apart from my husband's ugly face! :rotfl: )

How are we all doing? Looking forward to catching up with all your news

Been a busy few days doing all sorts of bits. I've got an interview tomorrow so the plan for today is:
    -Finish my cuppa
-Walk to a local school to deliver an application
-Go help with the cleaning at church after our building work
    -Job search
    -Interview prep
    -Pick out clothes for tomorrow
    -Check bus times
    -Iron interview clothes
    -Wash up
    -Have a bath
    -Early night!

All done :D:D and was in bed even earlier than planned even though I had a printer nightmare!

Everything here is going really well, still a couple of health blips but I am functioning so much better, energy levels are much improved. Like you this thread was the first think I woke up to, it really helped me, How is Fairy?

My lists now go on my old page, I think I will adopt the smily for when each thing has been completed too xx

  • Hi Guys

Sorry its been a while -getting online over the holidays has been tough but Xan started big school on Monday, and really want to get cracking on clearing my debts and start saving for a nice big mansion (I can dream!) near the school as it is taking me an hour to get there in the morning! Hope you have all been well - great to see the regs and all the newbies!

Right - back to business! My list for tomorrow....
    • Put bins and recycing out
    • survey a day
    • photo a box of new stock
    • Set up a Play selling account
    • Make shepherds pie for hubs tea
    • Pay Isme account off
    • Wash up and wipe down sides
    • Load of washing
    • Have a NSD

  • Interview clearly didn't go as well as I'd hoped as I didn't get the job I went for. Been rather sad about it today but kept busy by a visit to a school and day centre. I've also filled in and sent off an application form.

Since I'm still jobless the plan for tomorrow is -
    -Get up bright and early
    -Finish one application
    -Ring 2 schools regarding volunteering
-Walk to and from the job centre
-Email for application packs from 3 schools
-Ring to organise a visit to a school
    -Job search online
    -Register with the library
    -Continue with job applications
    -Go to handbell rehearsal
    -Have a long soak

Hope everyone is having a good week

  • Hello everyone, I would like to join in the positive stepping, I found it very helpful in the past and I think it will help me again now. Also I like to have a good old nose at what other people have been up to. I am pottering about now on a saturday night (i know how to party!) so i will post back before bed about the positive steps I have made :-) )

  • Hellooooo Fairy (and everyone else). Job interviews/applications have taken over in the past week or so and I've barely stopped with other things too! I've only had one evening at home in the past week, and I'm out every night (or currently have plans to be) this week! Things are looking up, despite an awful day on Thursday, and although I don't feel like I'm doing much in the day, things must be working out the way they should (watch me be back on Monday in a panic about Tuesday's interview!!)

  • Right so tonight I have:
Emptied all the dead flowers away (been putting this off as I like having them there but they were starting to look very sad)
    Put some bits on freecycle
re-joined all my threads on MSE :money:
    tidied the living room

set up some meetings for work :)

That's all for tonight I think, time for bed, I will be back with more things tomorrow. Night all xxxx
