Decided to get back on with the positive steps as my enthusiasm has been lacking......

    So far today I have:
    Hung a load out :)
    Put another load on :)
Washed up, dried and put away, wiped all sides down :)
Cleaned one double cupboard, one single cupboard and a drawer in the kitchen out :j This has been hanging around on the list for months now :o
Tidied bedroom and stripped bed :)

Lets see what else I can tackle today

    Ironed bedding :)
    Got some washing dried :)
    Washed up again :)
Went & cllected 2 wardrobes from Gumtree :D

    Happy Bank Holiday Monday everyone

-Print a job application to complete tomorrow while I'm volunteering done :)
    -Create a poster for a concertdone :)
-Make and print tickets for above concert done :)
-Return book and DVDs to my SIL done - made much easier by the fact she came round for something! :)

Another busy day volunteering so far! Got a little frustrated at one point but managed to keep my cool by going off to hide somewhere for a minute or two! At least I'm now home and having a quiet half hour before I crack on again!

    So far I have:
    -Volunteered at Day Centre :)
-Printed and filled in an application form :)
-Rescued my SIL after my brother locked her handbag in the porch with her keys in before he went to work :)
-Cut out 120 tickets after making them yesterday :)
    -Edited a concert poster :)
-Talked myself out of going to Tesco even though I've been dying for lemonade since Sunday...means today should be another NSD :)
-Drafted a letter to send to schools about volunteering in nursery classes once term starts again :)

    Still to do:
    -Fill in Job Application form
    -Practice the flute
-Make an anniversary card for friends
-Make a new baby card for above friends (baby due 2 days after their anniversary!)
-Job search on local council websites for teaching jobs
    -Have a nice relaxing bath
-Read 2 chapters of LOTR (if I don't put it on my list I won't do it because I'm not really enjoying it but determined to finish it!)

I'm going to hide under the duvet for 10 minutes until it stops thundering!!

It hasn't been the most productive of days today as I've been out for a friend's birthday. But it's been nice to get away for the day.
Yesterday I had a very productive morning which was fortunate as my BFs hot air balloon flight was cancelled so he came over for the afternoon rather than stay at work!
    Yesterday I:
-rang the job centre to ask about my first payment :D (this is a massive deal for me as I have a bit of a phone phobia!)
-Had a good job search and have a couple of schools to phone on Monday to arrange a visit :)
    -Posted a job application :)
-bought stamps for other applications :)
    -Signed on :)
    -Tidied up :)
    -Went for a walk :)
-Bought treats for the rabbit :)
    -Washed up (twice!) :):)

Today I've mainly survived a long walk round York and Cubs which was pretty fun with 3 police officers coming to talk about their jobs for the Community Challenge and am currently (finally!) emptying my camera memory cards! (Though I'm only really doing this ready for a day out tomorrow when i'm going to play with a DSLR for the afternoon!! :D

Jobs for this weekend (When I'm at home!)
    -Change and wash my bedding
-Make 3 Thanks cards for the officers who visited us tonight
-Make a new baby card for the cubs to sign next Friday Done :)
-Email photos from tonight to webmaster Done Though it didn't get done until Sunday as my laptop was being stupid! :)
-Application form for a nursery job done :)
-Finish updating my CV Done :)

    Have a great weekend everyone!

  • Today has been VERY productive...to make up for yesterday I guess! One of my oldest friends has had a beautiful baby today and I've been just a tad excited all day!! But I have managed to:

-Tidy my desk (Very necessary as I couldn't find any space to put my laptop!) :)
-Contact 2 schools to arrange visits (Waiting for one to get back to me) :)
    -Requested 2 application forms :)
-Bought a little present for the new mummy and daddy and sorted out the gift bag for baby :)
-Been to the job centre where I was given more jobs to apply for :)
-Written a list of schools to contact about volunteering :)
-Printed and cut out more concert tickets :)
-Job searches on several local job sites :)
-Researched different supply teaching agencies in the area :)
-Returned some DVDs to my SIL that I've watched :)
-Talked to BF about a course I'm considering doing :)
    -Washed up :)

Hope you're all having a good week
