Hi just came across this thread, so peeps want to resurrect it as we're coming up to end of year, xmas planning etc and may need lifting to get things done!
I liked the look and feel of it so I'll post and hope some of you original posters will be drawn back to it :-)
1 - finish off oustanding work stuff & collect in money / old work expenses owed to me (abuot £500)
2 - sort out work finances, receipts etc
3 - file/shred/respond to anything needed in home paperwork
4 - check mine and DH credit cards and any BT offers that are running out
5 - get DH to phone mortgage company and take off £100 overpayment for now
6 - sort out my online business banking & use the darn thing
7 - unlock my santander account and use the child benefit money in there for kids expenses (son has france trip coming up & other son is starting tuition this week)
8 - keep using toshl app on phone and encourage DH to use it too
9 - EBAY!!!!
10 - change elec & gas supplier - before martin shouts at me ;-)
11 is to just do it!0 -
Hello all,
Rather like Suzitiger and Fairy, I haven't been on here for ages and thanks to Suzi reminding me, I am delighted to rejoin and find the positives (even if there aren't any!)
Some positives today were
-went back to work from being very ill at weekend and made it through the day
- put some cheques in the bank
-didn't buy a smashing pair of boots I saw on the way to the bank
-ate cake
- smiled patiently instead of strangling DS2 over homework
-cuddled the cat
-off to yoga tonight and hope my nose doesn't drip on the mat and cause me to slip into a felled tree pose
Obviously this doesn't make 10 but 70% success rate is good (in fact good enough to add as another positive, and make it 80%)
Please tell me if I'm breaking the rules.
Kind regards

-Emptied all the bins and taken out recycling and rubbish.:)
-Put away all the clean washing in the living room:)
-Put another wash on
-Choreographed another dance routine for classes:)
-Posted on all the threads:)
-Did some washing-up
-Hoovered the hallway
-Made some calls for work:)
-Tidied up some clutter in the living room
:j
Some of these things I haven't done yet(the ones without smilies) but it means I will do them now I have a list and that I have posted about it

Hello all
Feeling more positive in general at the moment now I've managed to secure a job, but a bit blue as OH is away hiding in the Yorkshire Dales somewhere for the week and very little signal. I have a to do list somewhere but I appear to have misplaced it! So tomorrow I must:
-Go Sign On
-Ring the back to work people and sign off (I tried to do it today but was told to sign on first then ring again so I didn't lose any benefit)
-Buy passport photos (for passport when I get paid and bus pass)
-Complete a couple of exercises on my proofreading course
-Tidy my room (this may take a week!)
-Clean out the rabbit
-Make a record chart for the Cubs
-Think of interesting things to have for lunch at work
-Have a long soak in a hot bath with a good book
-Send DVDs back to Lovefilm (after watching the second one)*2014 £365/365days - £52/£365* *20p Savers club #17 £12.00/£50*
March 2014 NSD 0/15 take lunch to work march 0/21

NMB books: 6/94+ NMB DVDs: 13/67

Yoga was fine thank you. No upside down work so was saved from drippy nose issues. Fell asleep in relaxation though. Had to be poked by a friend.
On the positives side today its been a bit more of a struggle but lets see...
- beautiful view over the fields on my way to work, sun rising, sky blue, mist hanging over the fields..
-had a giggle in the staff room at lunchtime
- gave to charity by paying a pound for a bag of yummy sweets!
- didn't spend any money other than the exonerating sweets
- caught up on last week's coronation street
- found my snuggly bed socks
- am in bed at 9.30!
- have enough energy left to write all this down
Well not bad for a bad day. No cake today though, always a disappointment I think.
Kind regards

Always good to have to-do lists on here I think, I completed mine in the end, although there is still alot of junk in the living room.:rotfl:
Heigh ho, I will clear some more tomorrow. We've had alot of major structual work to the chimney which has been chaotic and some flooding so everything has been in and out of boxes, makes you realise how much stuff is lying around though...:cool:Don't turn a slip up into a give up
