Evening! Not been an overly productive day as I've been to the seaside with my boyfriend. It's been a fab day and apart from a few little drips of rain the weather has been glorious!
My steps for today have been:
    -Make picnic
-Walk lots (we've managed about 8miles!)
-Not change any money in the amusement arcade (We took 2ps out of my copper jar so didn't need to...and I found 50p in one of the 10p machines before we even started!)
-Not buy anything we didn't need.
-Ask my boyfriend advice for his mum's christmas present so I can start making it.

Tomorrow I think might be a fairly slow day as I'm really tired after all that fresh air! So I plan to
    -Make a Christmas card
-Finish making a birthday card (it only needs the verse to put inside)
-Pay my mum and dad's godson for his sponsored bike ride.
    -Finish my book.

    Hello All,

I was wondering if I could join the challenge. I have suffered from depression most of my life and always find it difficult to motivate myself to do things. I once belonged to a support group who did a similar task as this thread and it was enormously helpful, but the group ended and I slid back to my old ways.

I would like to start out with 5 positive things, not 10.

    My list for today,

Take dry cleaning to dry cleaners Done
    Arrange haircut Done
Ring Cousin, its her birthday Done
    Tidy apartment
Sort out clothes to take back to shop (went on an impulse shopping spree when i couldn't afford it:/)

Hello ChihiroSen :hello: I'm fairly new here but have already found it helps to write down what I've achieved :)

Today I haven't had the most productive of days after a rubbish night's sleep...and frustratingly I'm wide awake again tonight! But I have
    - made a birthday card (a different one to Sunday!) :)
    - put on 3 loads of washing and hung them out (only for them to get rained on!) :)
    - put 3 loads of washing in tumble dryer/on creel in kitchen/on clothes horse to dry for the second time :D
    - taken jeans to my Gran's for fixing because they're too comfy to just throw out! :)
    - almost completed a very detailed job application form for my dream job :)
    - been out for a birthday meal and drinks with a friend (Steak night at Wetherspoon's as she's never had steak and is nearly 30!) and not got cross with her over anything (We've not been getting on brilliantly recently) :D
    - Rooted out everything I have for making Christmas cards so I know what I need to get still! :)
    - Washed up :)
    - Been asked if I want to go to Paris to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday! :D
Perhaps it's been more productive than I first thought! Now I just need to feel tired before a long day of volunteering tomorrow!!

Hope everyone is having a good week so far :)

I've been neglecting positivity a bit over the last few days (and been a bit busy!) Hope you're all having a lovely bank holiday.
Managed (just) to get in an application for my dream job on Friday so enjoying a quiet weekend with my boyfriend :)
    Today I have:
-Helped to clean out the pond at BF's mum's
-Returned the pond vac to the pond shop we hired it from
-Cleaned his car (a week after I grafittied in the muck on it!)
-Washed up after a LOVELY dinner.

I'd have done more but a quick cuddle on the sofa and my BF is having a 'powernap' on my shoulder! So everything else is on hold!
    I also need to:
-collect my camera from home ready for tomorrow
-read up again on the new EYFS framework in case i get an interview for my dream job
-Download another job pack for another job I've found to apply for
-photograph cards I've already made and finish a Christmas card I'm in the middle of.
-Make a 'new baby' card ready for the arrival of my friend's baby
