Evening all :-) Hope it's been a good day for you and you're all managing to relax a bit to watch the Olympic closing ceremony!
It's been a more productive day than I anticipated today :-D
    I have:
    • Finished my book (after forcing myself to put it down and go to sleep at half 2!)
    • helped my brother to choose a pond for his garden (then sat and watched him dig - I would have helped but he only has one spade!)
    • Sold some uni books to my SIL for £30 It's been so long since I've made any money it felt great!
    • Had a lovely Sunday dinner
    • Arranged to meet my mum for lunch tomorrow after I've been to the Job Centre
    • Found my certificates and everything I need for applying for jobs after tidying it into a safe place!
    • Tried to show my Gran how to use iPlayer on the wii so she could watch a Proms thing she missed the other day
    • Set my alarm for bright and early so I can have a productive day tomorrow
Now having a sit down to watch the Olympic Closing Ceremony. Not sure what I'll do with out them! I've been hooked!!

Morning! It's a new day and the sun is shining...and my stomach is in knots!
Appointment at the job centre today and I'm not looking forward to it at all. But I shall not let it get me down (somehow!) and if it does I'll not let it stop me being productive! Today I shall...
    1. Finish this cuppa and have a shower.done:)
    2. Work out why our printer won't print as I need some copies of my CVdone:)
    3. Go to the job centre done and not as bad as I expected! :)
    4. Put some washing on
    5. Hang the washing out
    6. Go meet my mum for lunch done :)
    7. Drop a book off for my SIL (after writing a list of other books I have she can borrow if she needs them) half done
    8. Hope some application forms arrive in the post to start filling in. received one late by email so will fill in tomorrow
    9. Finish a cross stitch card
    10. Look on the local council websites for teaching jobs to apply for.
    11. Try and contact a school about visiting during their summer schooldone but no answer so job for tomorrow.:)
    12. Dust off the wii fit board and maybe go for a bike ride.done:)
    13. Find L plates that I'm sure must be floating around somewhere.done :)
    14. Wash up.done :)

And if I get all that done I'll easily fall asleep tonight (I hope!)
Hope everyone has a good day :-)

Hope you're feeling better today Xandersmum

Well done on standing up for yourself at work. I wish I'd had the guts to do that before I left!

Today has been a pretty good day really. I was a bit stressed this morning as I had an appointment at the bank (nothing like everything happening at once!) but like the job centre, it wasn't as bad as I anticipated and the adviser I spoke to was really lovely. Managed quite a few things today, and am now closer to being ready for Christmas having finished cross stitching 2 cards now!

    Been to the bank :)
Finished making a Christmas card (hoping to make most of them this year so needed to get started early! :)
2 loads of washing washed and hung out :)
Spent the afternoon with a friend :)
Received 2 job applications in the post :)
    Proofread my boyfriend's website :)
Bought a new baby card kit ready to make for a friend :)
Bought wool to have a go at making a cool scarf :)
    Washed up :)

I probably won't get many steps completed tomorrow as I'm helping out at a local day centre but still hoping for a few little things!

How annoying! I'm wide awake again now after being exhausted about 4ish!
    Today I have:
Helped out at a local day centre serving meals and being a general dogsbody :) (this included surprising a couple of the ladies there who thought I was still at school!...I'm 26!
    Completed an application form :)
Walked to the day centre to save money :) (Had to catch the bus home because it was pouring down though!)
    Had a bath :)
    Washed up :)
Arranged to pop down to my Gran's tomorrow for some crafty advice so I can start making a couple of Christmas presents :)
Aiming for an early morning (if I get to sleep at a reasonable time!) so I can have a really productive day!

Thanks Guys! feeling a bit brighter, but still in a self-loathing mood! Weight hasn't gone up but it hasn't gone down either, so feel like a Hungary Hippo!:wall:
Had quite a positive meeting at the hospital today who said my sugars are generally looking a bit better and gave me some ideas of fruit I can eat that shouldn't affect my sugars so much! Apparently cherries are sweet but have no detrimental affect on sugars so treated myself to a small punnet which I am going to munch once Xan is in bed!!

Bit late now so will do a list for today and tomorrow:

    • DY review
    • Catch up on Surveys :)
    • Wash up and wipe down sides
    • 5 new ebay :)
    • Inventory and rejig 2 boxes of stock :)
    • Buy new stock book
    • Parcel and post ebay :)
    • More toys moved to the upstairs toy box :)
    • Make Jelly
    • Pasta Bake for Hubs nights :)

Been another reasonably productive day today though I've been feeling tired all day!

    I have:
-Been to the job centre :) and was in their a grand total of 5minutes!
-Walked to and from the job centre :)
-Done 2 loads of washing and hung them outside
-Made a lovely curry for tea :) with enough left for supper tomorrow :)
-Knitted a very short scarf (ideally needs another ball of wool but will know that next time!) :)
-Been to bells practice :) though didn't concentrate brilliantly due to heat/tired so made lots of silly mistakes!
-Been to see my Gran to get my dressing gown which she was fixing :)
-Organised to go to Blackpool on Saturday with my boyfriend (would have been Whitby if it wasn't for the regatta being on this weekend apparently!) :D
-Washed up (and cleaned the kitchen after spilling some of the curry sauce on the cooker!) :)
-Learned how to purl so I can now (in theory) knit something a bit more exciting than a plain scarf! :)
-Started to make my next Christmas card :)
