Third load in WM. First load dry, second load now gracing radiators and heating has been turned up to assist drying. Rubbish out. Empty milk bottles out. Cardboard out. One bowl full of pots washed. Jacket potatoes cooked and eaten. Am dressed.

Not much but better than nowt xx

    clean back hall floor
close attic door once i put more baby stuff up
    clear our bedroom floor
    change our bedding
    get some oil
    hoover hall and bedrooms
    clean the bathroom
    fill stick box for tonight
    get more washing done
    clean cooker hob
brush and mop kitchen floor, back hall and utility room floor
    clear windowsil in kitchen
    put dw on
    wash school coats again
    wash school uniform

Think that should keep me busy tonight..:rotfl:
    Jojo Happy Birthday :bdaycake:
    Big hugs LW...xx
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

Today before work I managed to clean the bathroom and vacuumed/swept rest of house. Did the tap cleaning thing with malt vinegar, brilliant idea, thank you.

    Evening all

Managed a fair bit this morning then have sat drinking tea by the AGA with lovely friend all afternoon.

It is getting desperately cold in here now, condensation reforming already. Boiler man is allegedly on his way.

DS3 has a friend for tea. They are on the wii and the fire is lit so hopefully they are not too cold.

Hardly done a thing today as we've had a bit of a disaster - sewage all over the garden thanks to the house a few doors down blocking the drains! We have the main manhole in our garden for that part of the street so had the landlord over about it, then Dyno-Rod then finally Severn Trent who have sorted it at last but it still smells so bad :( Not eaten all day because of the terrible smell putting me off so gonna grab something small now and then finally get on with a few jobs before I make dinner for the other half and I... Talk about bloody Friday 13th! lol

It must be really cold in your area :( we haven't even got the heating on yet this evening.

I've spent the afternoon deleting emails and old files off the laptop. I've also found some recipes that I'd never got around to printing off :)
I've currently got a load of DD1's Grandma's washing in my WM. Her machine's broken, "the parts are in but the engineer is off sick" so she asked me to do a couple of loads, no skin off my nose as I'm up to date and she gave me £10 to do it :o
Fish & chips for tea tonight I think :D (which is good cos I never did get anything out of the freezer)
I was going to make a start on my bedroom (I refuse to do the girls anymore as it's always such a mess) but found DC1, DC2 and CD5 all on my bed asleep! That NEVER happens! The foul looks I got for going in there :rotfl:
I found another box of stuff for the CS in the girls room where it had been stored over Christmas. I had a rummage in the box and found £1 :) it was probably one of the girls but as there'd be arguments over it it's now in the holiday money box :D

Estate agents just phoned and asked to do a viewing at 9:30am tomorrow, the house is a mess! Looks like the cleaning will start a week early, I shall be attempting to catch up with most of the week tonight :j

Yes you do! They may not live round the corner but we are all here.

Cat's right, and if you keep on like that Kazw will be on your doorstep with a flylady delegation. And we know how you don't like visitors :p

    Besides, you have Dilly.

So stop trying to do everything and feeling negative about what you can't do. Start being positive about how much you have done, and how many lovely doggies you have visiting and how many online friends you have.

It's a New Year and time to be positive :D

I've hung my cleaning cloths up to dry, cleared up from lunch and put the nice clean dyson back together. Let's hope it works, as I washed it rather more thoroughly than the instructions suggest...

Need to sort out food. And redo my meal plan in the light of my failure to bother to eat anything I'd planned so far this week...
