Thanks Dusty - that is a stinker of a list! We have overnight visitors at the weekend again so it will help me if I can make the time this week.

Valli - I suspect you are right re the kindle. I tried the reader on the iphone and hated it which puts me off.

ETA Kazmeister IIRC your under the stairs cupboard is a wine cellar, in which case I will happily join you.

I'm here too! I shan't be using any posh stuff tomorrow as I've got Beavers and Cubs so I won't have time but I've had a bath tonight with some of my new stuff so I'll count that.

    Evening all

Thanks for the thread, dusty. I was doing well until last night, when I suddenly started feeling rough. Perked up after a bath and went out, went to farmers' market this morning and felt really unwell once I sat down with some food afterwards. As a result there is rather a lot left on my list. Never mind, I'll make a fresh start tomorrow. Got to S&S the kitchen tonight, empty/reload DW and do some washing. Hoping I'll be fit to go to work tomorrow.

Monday Hall, staris, landing, Bathrooms and loos
    Level One
Hoover and Mop all these areas
Clean sink and toilet, including the pedestal front and all the yunk behind
    Level Two
    Clean bath, shower
    Empty the bins
    Level Three
    Clean mirrors, shower screens, windows
Wipe any marks from the walls/tiles
Put away anything on the stairs or landing
    Extras
    HHI
    Sort the bathroom cabinet
Wipe the lightshades if it is safe to do so
Check your smoke alarms, hoover if necessary and safe
    My list:
DSs to thank various people for their presents WIP
    clean wm filter
    to-do list for work
    put cothes away
    find health ins claim form
fill in DS2's passport renewal form

    phone Diamond
put all Christmas stuff away (Monday) DS1 to put boxes in loft
collect numbing cream for DS2's blood test
    take DS2's books to library
    bag to charity shop
start planning list for DS1's trip to New York on 23rd
    phone DS1's training provider
    phone child benefit helpline
    paper recycling
    update budget
give DS1 job lists for days when he's not at college

Wow - that's some list. Most of it will get done over the course of the week, though. DS1 just did the bathroom on Friday, so there's no rush yet. I've also taken out the cupboard under the stairs. That's a job for a holiday and involves masses of paperwork sorting and filing. Have a good week, everyone. x

ETA Thanks for the advice re the pig, hex. The pigs are from Ruler Hall near York, but there's not much of a website. I'll need to make space in the freezer, but I've got four weeks until the next market. As long as I phone her before the end of the month, I'll be able to get it at this prize. I'll need some good recipes to make the best of the cuts, as I currently just bung joints in the oven or SC and hope for the best.

Thank you Dusty. That list should keep me going.

I've been procrasinating all weekend and have now had to settle down and do 3 hours ironing. I've done 2 hours so just an hour more. The school shirts have just finished in the TD so off I go......
