Good morning all on this mild but wet day...:)

    Re: Pork leg joints
I called CS yesterday morning and spoke to a very nice man. Explained the problem with the taste and he is going to send me a gift card to cover the cost. He also asked if I could take both the meat and the packaging back to the store so they could check with the supplier. He explained that pork is the meat they have most complaints with and people frequently mention a 'fishy' taste. He was so apologetic and could not have been any more helpful...one of the good people Tesco have working for them.. will be returning the meat later this afternoon to the store. Thank-you for all the helpful advice and comments...much appreciated..:T

While in Tesco will look for the Lindt eggs...am a chocoholic although will have to hide them from my husband as he is trying to loose some weight..maybe best not to get any, not fair to eat them in front of him..:rotfl:

    Have a good day everyone.

TONI i also have buff orpingtons arent they lovely, they are so friendly my son has one as a pet he had since it was a chick, who likes being stroked and sits on his lap and it follows him around like a dog even comes in the house, though i do tell him of for that..

:) they are lovely chickens, would recommend the breed to anyone, mine are only 9months old but are huge! They are really docile and do make great pets :) do you get many eggs from them? im still waiting for them to start laying, hopefully in the spring :)

my sons hen, leona is quite old now i think she is 6 but still laid over 100 eggs last year (he keeps count) she lives with our bantams as the cockeral kept pestering her and with his weight it was not good for her legs, the others average 180 -200 a year we have some laying now but get the most eggs spring to autumn
