Finally got some little bargains to share. (Sorry if already posted I've not had chance to read back). On a small stand near the girls clothing I found little headbands, bracelets, necklaces, some disney rings, hair slides etc which were all marked at half price. When I paid they were actually 50p each. Got £8.50 (original price) worth of stuff for £1.50. Ideal for little school prezzies or party bags. Hope this helps.

I'm also doing whoopsied steak in cono sur!!! It's in the slow cooker as we speak. When the meat is cooked, I'll transfer it into a casserole dish and stick in the oven with a big round flattened dumpling with grated cheese on top
Yay. Mine is in the slow cooker too. :T
Gonna put dumplings in toward the end and the left overs will end up in a suet pastry crust tomorrow. Loving the grated cheese too idea. Will be using that little gem later on now!!!!!
Thank you!!:A Every moment is a gift. That's why we call it the present.!:A

Had a ropey day searching for stuff today but was nice to be out and about anyway and consoled myself with a nice feed! On the wagon so enjoying a nice big mug of coffee now!
Hi FK,notice you are on the wagon at the moment:) Just wondered if it was my observations on how much speckled hen you'd been necking or previous posts on liver probs?:o. Steak and chips looks fantastic but should I also tell you about my cholesterol problems?Mmm?... perhaps not :rotfl::rotfl:Awaiting a new sig0 -
Just out of my closest express. There's no scanner in store so didn't dare try the lindt choccies as they had a different barcode to the one I saw here. However they did have the lucozade on a clipstrip and I risked that one as I actually liked it (bought just the one a while ago as there was no point stocking up if I didn't like it). Scanned through at 1p so I am very happy.
Apologies for any typos as phone is awkward and doesn't really let me see what I'm typing.

on a negative note -the quiz .
I just played and saw Percy did his 10 in 22 seconds ,that's way to quick and although I'm a believer in freedom of speech and expression I'm also a believer in letting other people have some fun coupled with a chance of winning .
Upon that note I would vote private as I don't want to turn into a ' percy ' beater .
I don't expect everyone to agree but it's just my opinion .
I've changed my mind from last night. I was willing to give the benefit of the doubt and suck it up and try and beat his times but todays score is so unrealistic it takes the fun out of it for the rest of us. If it were someone on here we could concede that maybe we're all just a bit slow but it seems like someone who is just using our quiz as practice for other ones. I'm not slow or dim but it took me a lot longer than 22 seconds to just read the questions. There's no way you can read & answer each question in 2 seconds.0 -

247° Daz Liquid Summer Flower Power 20 wash for £1.01 or Violet Blossom for 99p! @ Tesco

This deal appears to be in-store only, but when I went to the Handforth Dean store this evening they had loads. Possibly end of line, but is very cheap for 20 washes (5p per wash!) if you're nearby. Will upload pic of receipt for proof. Cue forum members posting pictures of geese and other assorted jokes about Tesco deals. When it comes to Tesco, the way I see it, some you win, some you lose. I have missed the last few, but have stumbled across this one!

Frozen southern fried chicken.....failure
Lindt eggs....failure
Mini Eggs.....success (although it was a close one and had my heart going for a while, but SS operator let it through)
Trouble is I'm now having to resort to storing things in the small gap between the kitchen door and kitchen cupboards. Hmmmm....need more storeage.Baby Year 1: Oh dear...on the move
