you could have that same dish on slimming world , make the chips yourself and cut off the fat from the steak mmm

Very tempting:) but if I don't get my cholesterol level down by March I'll be on the dreaded Statins:(

I do treat myself to home-made chips a couple of times a year and go the whole hog and do them in goose fat:D In fact our Christmas dinner was roast ham, eggs and chips/wedges done in that way. Turkey, chicken and fish are my protein staples during the year on a low fat diet so a Turkey at Christmas (no matter how cheap at Tesco:rotfl:) is boring for me I'm afraid:( Also the ham and pease pudding stotties in the days after christmas are an extra treat when the rest of the nation is eating turkey sandwiches/curry:)

98° Bird's Eye Chicken in Sweet Korma Sauce, scans @ 50p Tesco
    5

Says £2 in stead of £2.69 on the label but scan at 50p. It is only this version and not the others in this range. I have got from Top Valley Extra and Bulwell in Nottingham. Hope you get some.

How many bags were you trying to put through?

Twice this morning I put through 10 bags and had no problem with the ss till.

Only 2 bags of eggs and 1 bin odour - I,m not greedy!

    Think I am jinxed!

    evening Elite! :)

    loong stressful day behind me...

did the most stupid thing EVER this morning: took bf's car to go to work!!! In Central London!!! 4GBP/hour!!!
bf is 'on call' this week and not feeling well so I thought I'll save him getting up early to go and pay for the parking :o stupidly didn't check the parking fees beforehand  lost a small fortune today... lots of stress too as it was the 'max stay 2 hours' one :o NEVER AGAIN! our 60p/hour seems almost free now

Anyway... didn't make it to Mr S nor a proper T(only an Express to get some change and didn't know about the cadbury eggs yet...)
BUT I went to Boots :D first one didn't have the shots, but the bigger one had 6 :T Got them, some vitamins, other bits... went to the till(no SS) and the lady scanned all and said "that's 1.24GBP... eeehmm... 1.24!!! How did that come?!" me: "good deal on vitamins!;)" thank you! byeee! no7 voucher too :j atm didn't give me any decent vouchers, I think they don't like me anymore as I haven't been there for ages and my boots card has poor 75 points on :o and when I worked there a few years ago I used to come home nearly everyday with bags full of bargains! :o

    I'm hitting T tomorrow for the cadbury&lindt eggs :p

:p:p:p:p:pWhat happened to "I will not buy a choccie glitch" ?:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Lindor and mini eggs in my superstore were on different aisles - none were on the chocolate aisle!

I can confirm that I got Cadbury's Mini eggs today from the Metro (best before 31 July 2012) - the Lindor in there were stickered, but scanned at 50p.

I got Lindor just from an Express store (no mini eggs in there).

Basically, check out every Tesco you happen to be passing, armed with the correct barcodes ... HTH
Can confirm I got Lindor in an Express - BBE August 2012.
