Talking of shopping scrums.... Once a year LA have had a huge sale of 'stuff' in their disused factory.
incredible bargains i.e vast posh interlined curtains for £25, roman blinds £5, furniture, rugs, bedding, accessories, cushions, wallpaper & clothing. All ridiculously cheap.
So you queue from 7am (die hards are there way before) & then the doors are opened & you walk....trot....run down the corridors to the Sale.
And literally grab what looks interesting & put it in your wheelbarrow (Bring your own). Do not take your eye off your stuff for a second as it will be taken. There are no morals. My sister had hers taken. One woman had a whole cage of stuff taken along with her handbag  No electricity so it's dark, cold & very dusty. Cash only.
And several pairs of curtains weigh a ton. I took a builders rumble sack last time & was dragging it behind me. Alot of people take an OH to stand guard over their stuff. Lots of men lined up along the wall head high in stuff :rotfl:
Everytime I go I tell myself I don't need anything.... I have enough pairs of curtains to have at least 6 changes a year on every window
When the next sale is announced I'll let you know but we haven't had one for over a year now.Our Family Motto ~If all else fails - read the instructions...

I just realised I have quite a few eggs in stock so may put my new-found pastry making skills to the test again with a quiche.
I'm a bit housebound today (Virgin man coming to fit my TiVo) so no time for shopping so it may just turn into a 'Whoopsie Quiche' using whatever I can find rather than a 'proper' quiche. If you're not scared, you're not paying attention0 -
Mini eggs worked for me this morning around 8am. Searched 6 tesco (3 extra's and 3 expresses) and only one had them!!! No lindor in sight x0
