yes you get the voucher with your receipt once you've paid...this should be the case on SS tills as well as the normal manned/womanned (!) ones

Hi FK was it you having car trouble last week? & was it a Freelander?
Ive got a knocking noise front drivers wheel thats been there for ages & the garage has always said they cant find a fault but this morning it sounds like the wheels going to drop off!
Any ideas?

Stupid statement but have you looked to see if your wheel IS falling off? Its not unknown for wheel bolts to come undone!

Can you describe the noise in any greater detail though to me? Also what car, approx year and miles on it?

i'm so annoyed this morning, used a cash machine this morning outside Ab3rt1ll3ry t's and the bl00dy machine was sticking kept my card!!!!!! it was making a terrible noise when it was giving my card back like it was trying to but it was getting stuck on something so i phoned the number on the machine who then put me through to my bank ands ive had to cancel my card now and wont get one for a few days Grrrrrr.
What made it more annoying was as i was there on the phone a young lad came out of the store and said did it just eat your card as its just took mine! i said yes and he said someone else has had it happen to them too, as i was by the machine had to stop about 10 people from using it and advised them that it was sticking and keeping all the cards, so then another 2 women came up to me they told me they too had their cards taken and gone into the store to report it, but obiously no one was there when i put my card in the thing!
Anyway i went in the store and told them the machine is broke and eating cards and could they put a sign on it to warn customers and was told Oh no were not allowed to put anything on it! I said surely you know its happened to a few people already today and as it looks ok to begin with its just going to keep happening! and she just looked at me stupid and said i cant do anything the machine people will come if its reported and realise.
I told her i reported it to my bank but was told to report in instore and they can call who ever it belongs to, but again all i got was a stupid look and she turned her back to me and pretending she was doing something.

its really wound me up and now stuck with no card to buy shopping until my new one comes

Can someone advise me of the Policy Tesco Direct use on errors please?

I think I've found an item (don't want to say what it is yet) on the Tesco Direct website where the description title doesn't match up with the description detail or model number (i.e. there's two versions of this product and they've worded the title in such a way as to read it's the cheaper version, but the detailed description and model number refer to the more expensive version). The price difference between the two items is over £100.

If I order the item and the wrong (cheaper) version comes and I kick off saying they've clearly sent the wrong version (as defined by the model number) will they just tell me to return it for a full refund or might I be able to haggle a further reduction for my inconvenience?

Members own previous direct experience on this would be helpful, I've read Directs Ts&Cs and they don't really cover this scenario.
