It's Cushings syndrome and that's what they thought Bonnie had too. A small (3mm) tumour on the pituitary gland which led to her uncharacteristic behaviour, hunger, thirst, incontinence, etc just like Tammy. I obviously know exactly how you are feeling and feel it with you hun :A

Kadison - I've never seen Simon's Cat before and really enjoyed going through a few of them today from you link :rotfl: :rotfl: Certainly took my mind of things, so thanks hun :A

I have to admit I noticed Blondienurse had written 'Cushions' syndrome and hadn't said anything, but was going to remark that that sounds just lovely, the sort of illness a pet should have, where they have to be put on the comfiest cushions to keep them healthy. I hope you don't mind me saying this Blondienurse, I just thought it was such a sweet idea xx

Re Simon's cat, anyone who's had a cat as a pet would roar with laughter, they're so lifelike!

With all of the discussion tonight I'd forgotten to think about Tesco visits! Went this afternoon for a few bits &pieces of normal shopping. Very few things to look for. Most of the old style Pantene has moved on &stuff left is scanning at normal price. Binoculars that were SEL 9.90 but scanned at 89p now have a SEL 89p but no stock. Sleeve Ironing boards that I mentioned a few weeks ago scanning at 14p now have a SEL of 14p(originally £6.50). Stock replenished in my extra after going out of stock and they are a must for all who love ironing and want that classy no crease look for shirt/blouse sleeves:rotfl:

Christmas stuff is still there with some stuff now reduced further but, bizzarly, some stuff has gone back up in price:eek: Must be a reason for this? Shortly about to go down to massive clearance? accountancy/book-keeping dodge?

Oh it'll be something dodgy, they're doing themselves no favours anyway! I did also notice that the 'reduced' (they weren't!) old Pantene bottles on the end aisle have now completely disappeared rather than being marked down

I'm sure fourp didn't mean it like that and i don't know why I'm replying on their behalf but I can understand how an innocent remark can offend. It happens to me with certain observations that people make on here but I've learnt to let it pass and not get upset about it.:) Sometimes people don't realise how some things hurt but because it's part of popular culture/comedy and on the TV they think it's OK:(

I know he didn't mean anything by it that's why the post was a civilised one :o But I had to say something, it felt wrong not to.

    Sausage casserole a la Waitrose

    1. Preheat the oven to 220C, gas mark 7. Heat the oil in a frying pan and fry the sausages for 3-4 minutes until browned. Remove and cut each sausage into three.
    2. In the same pan, fry the sliced onion, diced pepper and thinly sliced new potatoes for 5 minutes.
    3. Return the sausages to the pan with the baked beans and Worcestershire sauce, then bring to the boil. Transfer to a casserole dish, cover and bake for 25 minutes.
I find it needs a lot longer than 25mins to soften the tatties so trial and error.

add some basil, passata, garlic granules and mushrooms.

HC says "who on earth glosses skirting boards (and doors) these days?" He hates it and says it's so eighties.

HC is asking if anyone has a recipe for sausage casserole, if it can be done in a slow cooker then even better.:D

Slow cooker sausage casserole...a la meerkat style...bung sausages into Sc, add whatever veg you have, little onion, pepper, salt and garlic, ith tin chopped tomatoes or passata....add some more liquid t cover sausages & veg...cook on high for 2-3hrs, or low for 6-8... Voila Check that it hasn't gone too dry....and put a tea towel over the top to shorten cooking time :)

If he wants his sausages brown then grill them first...simples :)

I hate following recipes so just wing it with the slow cooker...had a lovely Irish stew from it tonight :T
Sounds good thanks for the tip :)

*Points to self* How is it 80s though? I can understand an 80s comment if you suddenly installed a brown or mould green bathroom suite, but glossing woodwork?

I love the short version of my name (not saying it on here though for obvious reasons) but HATE the long version, I worked out my mum called all of us 4 kids 3 syllable names for maximum impact when angrily shouting  so now when I hear my full name I think someone's angry with me! :rotfl:

I think my name suits me though, so I can't imagine what else I'd be called...........

My parents put a lot of thought into my name.....not. Right up til I was born everyone was convinced I was a boy....everything blue bought, knitted etc and I was to be called Aaron. So when it turned out I was female, Sharon was the closest they could think of!!! My kids have 3 names each and when they were little when I was angry, they got their "full titles" and know they were in trouble:rotfl: Still happens but usually with some more colourful language added!!!

    Oh BTW Hi HC

Hi 3Dogs sorry to here about your dog ( and any others who have lost pets ) i have had to skim read this week far to busy and not a lot of deals, or am i wrong? (sorry but had to skim and nobody uses BOLD now? when posting deals. Anyway i am with the rest who want HC back and i think nikkilala has done the most to try and sort it so i am leaving it to her (1 person not all in the thread ) to deal with it. You have done him proud Nikki ( as have all in this thread ) and i just hope Darren (Forum Manager ) and Andrea (Forum Mod) and anyone above will see sense and let him back. ( Forgive and Let him prove his worth in 2012 ) Cheers Darren, Andrea and the man above it all (Hopefully Martin) for taking a notice to this, and to Nikkilala for her effort to show you all that the guy is sorry for comments made in circumstances that he now regrets (Andrea) especially. Not forgetting all the support of the people in this thread who are supporting HappyChappy's return as i am one of you :) ( To all Mods (Darren and all Mods? Please reconsider or if above have a word ) Ok Goodnight from him and me, please sleep on it and consider his condition.
    Regards
