arrrrrgggghhhh mharzuk, if you could just change your name to Maurizio, that would be lovely before I launch this ipad through the window. Ta

I could try but I think the mods are not very quick at making those kind of changes, others have been waiting ages for their new names :D

Does make me sound more exotic rather than just Scottish though :rotfl:
Couldn't think of anything witty to say so just keeping the space until I can :(

just hope the cat didn't get hurt. :o

That one makes me laugh every time.

My all time , hands down favourite has to be the one of the dudes in the van playing a prank on the sleeping youth. It cracks me up. I have a VERY loud laugh when something truly tickles me and I must have given my neighbour a real wake up call when you posted it.

    Question..

I bought about 70 packets of Dormen's nuts off clipstrips on Wednesday for 1p each, having no problem with SA on a manned till or supervisor who was with him.

When I got the nuts home I realised that they all had a 'use by' date of 14 Dec 2011. I bought the same nuts with a 'use by' date of May 2012 before Xmas so didn't expect the new batch to be out of date.

    What should I do next?
    open packet and eat fast:rotfl:
  • Anyway new 1p toy

If it doesn't go off tomorrow get some cetirizine anti-allegy tablets. I had a bad allergic reaction to something (only we didn't know what) and my eyes almost totally closed up.
I got my tablets on prescription, but they were just a stronger version of the over- the counter ones.

They're closing up already, I'm dreading my reflection in the mirror in the morning :rotfl:

What makes me laugh the cream is to take away puffy eyes  :rotfl:

OK peeps, stop the personal attacks, how could you possibly dislike people you only know on the internet. You've never met so you really don't know each other. Words in text can come across very differently from the way they are intended. At least when talking face to face you have tone, expression and body language to help emphasis the meaning of words. Please bear this in mind when you read comments you feel offended by.

OK sermon over ****steps off the soap box *****

Well said, but a bit of verbal sparring is only handbags on an internet forum. Let's keep things in perspective. I would sincerely hope that there is no real animosity between those that have exchanges on here but people will always disagree on some subjects and want to air a view. Hopefully people will just agree to disagree at the end of the day

I personally feel that anyone who puts someone else on their ignore list may be going to extremes, unless they are feeling threatened, but I respect their choice to do that.

Like you I'm getting off my soap box now (until the next time;))
    Awaiting a new sig

Two posters have stood out tonight, looby and locarr.

The posts I noted, were a) not very friendly, and b) for the lurkers and those thinking about posting, I think they would find your comments rather cliqued.

Hugs being sent to 3Dogs and Blondynurse

Well done Nikkilala, Pleased to see you've heard from the powers that be, and hoping HC does get a further chance.

i dont tend to post that often...but if i get chance to sit on here all night like i have tonight then i post a bit more frequent...thats why I've responded to more posts than normal. If I'd posted as normal about 1 evry few days) then this wouldnt have been an issue.

acknowledging someones rude comments and their ongoing battles with other forum users is not 'clique'....as regards putting off lurkers, i'm quite sure thats not the case, and would apologise to any newbie who wouldnt post because of me....at the end of the day we're all different, and I dont like bullies or rude people who expect concessions for their behaviour due to their circumstances.

    :)
hoping for a very MSE Ts glitching 2012!

Spelling of proper Irish names is what has put us off using them...Aoife, caiomhe (my favourite), niamh, aine....living in England we would constantly have to spell/pronounce etc. Mind you with the soft t on my accent people struggle to grasp my meerkats name...Katie should've been so simple...not when it sounds like 'kadie'....considering, annabelle, Emily, Charlotte, Chloe, rebecca....none jump at us though :(

I'm so glad you've written some of those names. I read a lot of books by Irish authors and never know how to pronounce the names!! (apart from Niamh) How do you say them?

I like the name Alice for a little girl if you want something traditional.
My husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.
