Two posters have stood out tonight, looby and locarr.

The posts I noted, were a) not very friendly, and b) for the lurkers and those thinking about posting, I think they would find your comments rather cliqued.

Hugs being sent to 3Dogs and Blondynurse

Well done Nikkilala, Pleased to see you've heard from the powers that be, and hoping HC does get a further chance.

My friends daughter is Niamh...(and I'm not sure now if that's the correct way to spell it!) and that usually stumps people!
My daughter is expecting a girl in March and she likes the name Freya. I like it too....but their surname is Dale and she's unsure of how Freya Dale sounds...what do you think?
Is it said Neave/Neeve? That's how the little girl at DD's nursery is said :)
Freya is such a lovely name :)

I know of a woman who actually called her son jack.

So what, you may say. Well, only that her last name is RUSSELL!
    I am actually dead serious!

Better than the Richard Head I was told about! Oops!
    Hope is not a strategy.

Spelling of proper Irish names is what has put us off using them...Aoife, caiomhe (my favourite), niamh, aine....living in England we would constantly have to spell/pronounce etc. Mind you with the soft t on my accent people struggle to grasp my meerkats name...Katie should've been so simple...not when it sounds like 'kadie'....considering, annabelle, Emily, Charlotte, Chloe, rebecca....none jump at us though :(

Freya is a beautiful name...and she can always change her surname when she gets married :)
    Baby meerkat...born 9.10am 31/1/12 - now a fully fledged monster meerkat.
New Baby meerkat due 09/09/2013 :)

Exactly. With all the tough things some people on here have been through in the last few days, it's sad that others are bickering over minor stuff.

wise and sobering words. You're right and I apologise for my part :o

hope people are bearing up ok. I didn't/couldn't read the poems, I can cry at ben10 st the moment so would have been a wreck, but thoughts are with all those that need them tonight

Oh gawd, I'm having a terrible reaction to an eye cream I just bought in Sainsburys. I look like a monster, my eyes are so swollen and weeping

I've washed it off and used a nasal spray so I hope I'll be okay, though my chest feels abit tight too :o

    This one

If it doesn't go off tomorrow get some cetirizine anti-allegy tablets. I had a bad allergic reaction to something (only we didn't know what) and my eyes almost totally closed up.
I got my tablets on prescription, but they were just a stronger version of the over- the counter ones.

    Yeah that's how it's pronounced.
We were going to go with one of the other spellings but decided to stick with the Irish.
