They're closing up already, I'm dreading my reflection in the mirror in the morning :rotfl:

What makes me laugh the cream is to take away puffy eyes  :rotfl:

I was off sick for a week, because I couldn't drive and I hadn't even used anything new. Definitely get some anti-allegy tabets if you can, the pharmacist should be able to advise you. Hope they go down.

Erm, could we leave Frequent out of it please. He is sound asleep on a bale of hay, after downing a bottle of voddy (hard week at work) :rotfl:

I know of a woman who actually called her son jack.

So what, you may say. Well, only that her last name is RUSSELL!

    I am actually dead serious!

Obviously you're not a cricket fan then:rotfl: Anyone else know what I'm talking about?

I'm so glad you've written some of those names. I read a lot of books by Irish authors and never know how to pronounce the names!! (apart from Niamh) How do you say them?

I like the name Alice for a little girl if you want something traditional.

I'm glad you asked cos I'm the same.. :)

this thread is educational as well as about finding Ts glitches!!
hoping for a very MSE Ts glitching 2012!

Niamh is spelled correctly. I think I am correct in saying it is pronounced more like Neive though.

I like Freya too. If they don't like their first name, they will have thier middles names to fall back on. My husband goes by his middle name as he does not like his first name.

I went for the easy option and chose one name from my family (which I game to my DS, named after one of my brothers) and a name from my OHs family (which I game to my DD, named after one of his sisters).

But what if that's horrible too? I don't like either of my names....My middle name is the same as my mums but it could have been worse I suppose.....thank goodness she didn't give me her first name - or I'd have been a Daphne
Apologies if there are any Daphne's out there (you poor souls!!)
My husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.

Phew finally caught up. What a day I have missed!

Sorry to hear of your loss blondynurse, hugs to you.

So glad that Nikki is managing to put Happys case forward, I really do hope it's a good outcome. Anyone know how he got on at the vets today?

Thanks to everyones good wishes for my mum, scan went well this time, won't go into too much detail but let's just say I suggested that perhaps they did not try to make her drink quite as much this time so that she kept it down. And they were ok with it and they saw her quickly. :T She didn't have one of her funny turns after being laid flat so came out looking a lot better than last time. :)

No results until we see the consultant on 30th. :(

Anyway mum had a good afternoon as I took her out for lunch braving getting the wheelchair in and out of the car again. It was lovely to see a smile on her face, getting some bits in Wilkinsons. No bargains she even paid £1.75 for batteries , I did have some at home cheaper from Ts but the independance of doing a bit of shopping herself did her the world of good. I just wheeled her around to her hearts content she always wants to go and look at the towels in there, she has drawers full at home so persuaded her she didn't need anymore on that front. But a new toilet brush was had :D but had to say I didn't think I could manage to push her and carry a new front door mat! :rotfl:

Had a little nosey at FB this morning, sort of hoped they may have put out another 50p dvd player but just saw a gap where wool got hers from I think. ;)

Just got couple of the heritage tins of biscuits £1.25 and they had some of the cadburys tins too for £1.50. They were no longer in the xmas aisle. Also noticed the jars of moments were £2.99 down from £10 were they ever that!

Glad you had a good day with your mum:)
Have you been to home bargains in southall - iron bridge next to matalan, worth a browse:T

Didnt even know we had a home bargains around, thanks clipstrip:T

Well said, but a bit of verbal sparring is only handbags on an internet forum. Let's keep things in perspective. I would sincerely hope that there is no real animosity between those that have exchanges on here but people will always disagree on some subjects and want to air a view. Hopefully people will just agree to disagree at the end of the day

I personally feel that anyone who puts someone else on their ignore list may be going to extremes, unless they are feeling threatened, but I respect their choice to do that.

Like you I'm getting off my soap box now (until the next time;))

Agreed Artha, well said:T:T:TI only put someone on ignore once and then I'm such a nosey cow I had to go back and see what they were saying:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Shoots out the nose a treat!

    :rotfl:

Might have been more dignified if I was actually drinking something at the time! :rotfl::rotfl:

I don't think there is a limit to how many middle names you can have. Give them enough and they are bound to have one they like:rotfl:
