No chance. Although this morning he has taken the dog to the vets for a check up.

Can't believe the nestle purple bars still scanning 67p even though in big red signed clearance section. I really do think Mr T plays games with us, well not us other unsuspecting shoppers who have no idea the pricing tricks he plays. I just think they let themselves down as the shops just start to look really messy as things hang around for ages. Unlike Sainsbobs, Boots and even Asda who do big blanket reductions, messy for couple days but all cleared and tidied up, nothing dragging on.

Off to hospital with mum in a bit, she has a CT scan booked. I will be really surprised if the cancer has not spread further by the amount of pain she has been in lately and how much more unsteady she is but we will see. Just want her to be more comfortable, morphine was increased again tuesday and seems to have helped. It is not nice seeing a loved one deteriorate and I mean our animal friends too. Will be thinking of you blondynurse and hope today is a bit brighter for you 3dogs.

Hope your mum's scan goes well and that something else is causing the pain xx

Yes Mr T's do themselves no favours, the xmas stock has almost completely disappeared if not entirely from other supermarkets but there's still loads in our local T's as it's still all only half price! Might check again today though......if my fridge arrives before 6pm!

A bit of a treat that is vaguely healthy (at least in comparison to all the choc we've had)

Solero Orange or Pineapple fruit ice lollies 3pk - £1 at T

    http://www.tesco.com/groceries/product/search/default.aspx?searchBox=solero

FREE with the £1 Unilever VIP coupon - DD had to sign up for this as I'd already used mine on less exciting laundry stuff.

Also free would be a 500ml tub of Walls Cornish Vanilla - great on hot sticky toffee pudding

Thought I'd repost this, someone posted it last night but I've only now watched it, so funny and might lift the spirits of those feeling down. Particularly good for people owned by cats :D

    I can confirm she isn't. ;)

Was good to have a chat today Debs, sorry to read news about the insurance. I do not know how they are allowed to wriggle out of things so easily. Have not finished reading back yet but was the advice about household insurance any good?

Looks like we missed a good one today by Wools post, guess was the store we talked about the Pantene being at. ;) Still if we had found it we would have had to toss a coin I think. :rotfl:

Just want to give a few hugs out to Blondynurse, Beki and bensonsmum, hope have not missed anyone but am sort of skim reading and not totally caught up yet.

You mean you didn't notice I was dressed as a nun!!! Was good to have a chat anyway. :D

I was in FB the night I drove down as well, picking up the shampoo!
I was much too sleepy to look round everything, at least we know it went to a good home with wool :)

My mission today is to find a nice, and not too expensive, necklace for my mum to come home to.

3 Dogs and Blondynurse - so sorry for you losses. When I had to have my cat put to sleep I remember one thing someone said to me that really helped (not that i'm even religious)
They won't feel any more pain, and they will be happily playing with all the other dogs and cats in heaven.

Just caught up from last night. Huge hugs to 3dogs & Blondynurse. It is so heartbreaking to lose a pet. My Mum & Dads dog Tia had to be put down 3 years ago and I have tears in my eyes even now thinking about her.
Tinyshoes hope everything goes well for your Mum today.

And good morning to everyone else :)
