Re-reading it set me off again this morningmymerrywidow wrote: »for cheaper "accident" pads go to a chemist that stocks disabled aids. we have proctors. they are about 25p a sheet. which is alot cheaper than the proper ones and work just as good.
Another even cheaper option is to have a baby and "borrow" some from the hospital :rotfl:. I had loads of them after having DS1 and they were so cheap compared to disposable changing mats that Pampers make.0 -
Picked up a Mrs Peek's Christmas pudding 680g yesterday reduced to 30p, only one left on shelf. Best before Jan 2013, so might be worth keeping an eye out for these.
I still have xmas 2010's pudding in the cupboard & brandy custard, two years on the trot I have over done it with the main course!! Its ood Feb this year, will the birds eat it?!0 -

My 'bale of hay' as he calls it would be shoved back in my face. I dare say he will be having breakfast courtesy of Mac D on the way back from the vets.Something unexpected happened which made me smile and still continues to make me smile.

RIP oor wee Tammy. She went is now at peace. OH and myself cried our eyes out, we are never going through that again. we took her her usual wee walk this morning, i cooked her mince which she ate, cuddled her constantly, i think she knew, the lady vet said it was the only thing we could do she said she thinks Tammy has cushions syndrome and diabetes as well as major organ failure, she reasured us that Tammy agitation and constant hunger as well as everything else was making her an unhappy wee dog and it was best to go ahead and do what we were doing. When she passed she looks so content and settled hubby and I both said we hadn't seen her so at peace for years. Thank you all for your words of comfort and kindness. my daughter stayed up all night cuddling Tammy on the couch she is 17 and can't remember life before we had Tammy. I noticed this morning she has a picture of Tammy on her bedside cabanet facing her bed. xxxxxxxxxlost 9 stone since Feb 2011
