stores there must be friendlier than in Belfast.
According to one SA yesterday they have been told not to think for themselves and if the customer doesn't have a reciept they've to call the manager and under no circumstances to do anything without checking first. Even with DTD's they've got to phone the duty manager to get it authorised now.
I have been accused of constantly seeking out DTDs in one store, I wouldn't mind being accused but I've only ever been to that store twice, once to return stuff and only went there because I was dropping stuff off down the road from it and the second time I did go seeking the DTD because I knew they had some of the item a week before. CS SA said I'd got DTDs almost daily in that store, I asked her for proof because if she checked up on my clubcard she'd see I'd only ever been in twice. She tried to get security guard to back her up but he told her she needed proof before accusing people randomly.

My God - - No they are not like that here - in fact they are so pleasant ! But I feel I need to stay under the radar now as im always getting things scanned and everything has been too expensiverecently ! So the shame has me shopping elsewhere lol:rotfl:
Thats defo worth a complaint to HO though id say ! Maybe a wee bonus for you in the post !
P.s My boys are actually getting worse is its poss? My head is lifting ! I am so glad to see the boots glitch fixed ( sorry - only for selfish reasons ) - but I wouldn't stand a chance of getting to any store and im kicking myself.
Hope wine ( cheers Karlie ) arrives today to cheer me up!;) I've had to cancel a dinner party at the weekend too that i've been looking forward to, but thankfully I hadn't been to Butcher yet so saved a fortune !
Give everyone a glitch Mr T = we're losing it !!!!!!!

bensonsmum wrote: »Evening all, hope you all had a great day, i went to the Boots sale, but to be honest was really dissapointed as there was next to nothing left, yet when i went in last night there was loads there - apparently people had been in just clearing the shelfs with a sweep of their arms, i got in there approx 9.30am and only christmas stuff, Gu chocolates and lavender smellies left, so instead i picked up 15 energy shots and 15 vitamins and stocked up on wet wipes and Gu chocolates - as you do!!
Went to M&S and got a couple of Bras and a pack of nick naks for a quid and 50p respectively. Also picked up a couple of pairs of mens PJ's for FIL as needing them whilst in hospital - and only £4!!
Then on to Mr T's picked up a disney princess pencil case set for 36p and also stocked up on the Ken Hom that is 2 x main meals and 2 x sides for a fiver - excellent value!!!
As i was leaving i had a phone call from OH - the news is my FIL has a brain tumour - don't know what type or if they will operate or what treatment will be undertaken yet - still waiting to hear back from specialists, but have been told we will know for sure tomorrow, as they were waiting for a few of them to get together today and look over the MRI scans etc. and decide what will happen next. I rang the hospital and spoke to FIL and he was full of beans, said food was great and could he have his glasses so he can see what the nurses look like - he said they sound lovely but can't be too sure as can't see them ( he is also partially sighted), i asked him if i could take him anything in when i go home on friday and he said a bus ticket out of there - i said its not that bad is it? he said no, but people die in places like this and he wants to make sure he gets his pension for the month first!! - still got a great sense of humour!! i told him i was trying to get cover so i could get home earlier, but he said i should stay where i was as there are bills that need paying and he doesn't want me to get into debt for his sake - love him xxx
Only just catching up as I had an early night, was in bed at 8pm!!!! Never normally go to bed till 1ish, but I think burning the candle at both ends is catching up on me, not as young as I used to be & all that!!lol
Bensonsmum, huge hugs for you all xoxxoxo So pleased you have found out what it is but so sad for it to be that. Its fabulous that he is in such good spirits, but I know you will all have a very difficult road ahead. I lost my mum to breast cancer, but it was the secondary brain tumours that took her away from us & it was a very difficult time for the whole family. Im wishing you all the best & hoping that they can get it treated. I'm a bit rubbish at expressing myself on here but my heart truely goes out to you and your family & if you need anyone to chat to in the future that understands then feel free to PM me. xx0
