That answers my question nicely :j :j 3Dogs makes a note in the Asda section of her notebook that their gums have proper black ones in :D

Hi, just catching up, but thanks for answering :) Just wanted to say that it is the midget gems that have the proper black ones, not sure about the wine gums.

    morning all
just wanted to share the joy i got last night from visiting my local tesco , only been twice since last august when two of they wonderful customer service staff suggested the only way my leaking carton of milk could have been cut was by me using a stanley knife, well long story but £100 voucher and a good telling off for the branch.
I ordered a quilt cover and decided i would collect from they rather than go to next town
greeted with the usual sour faces, guy gets quilt and asks for id with address on noticed a letter in bag and thought it was from passport office, gets it out and it was the letter from tesco saying
enjoyed our chat and would like to apologise for the appalling service you received at our xxx store
and enclose a voucher for £100:j
so i said to guy this this will do and I was messing about in bag saying to him i can never find my car keys, making sure he had time to read it.
well they say what goes around comes around.
walked in a bad mood came out laughing my head off

None of us has. A little bit of common courtesy wouldn't go amiss.
Something unexpected happened which made me smile and still continues to make me smile.

    Hi All

I'm just here to update on Tesco Finest Meal Deal Fiasco I had earlier this week.

I had gone to store chosen my items from the clearly advertised Meal Deal for £10 Fridge, gone to pay for it, but scanned at higher price but SA asked if I wanted it as Meal Deal, so lady went to check items, came back and told me point of sale had been removed, but I could have them full price . So I declined!

Sent complaint email to HO and got a call today, she said that the store had give me wrong information and should have honoured it for £10 as it was in a clearly advertised fridge. I asked what was meant by point of sale and the lady on phone said "shelf edge labels", I said well I saw the flag type thing on side of fridge and that is why I picked the items off the shelf.

She was a lovely lady and is sending me a £10 gift card for my troubles. :j

What is it with Tesco and their random prices? Up until last week, I used to buy their own brand Merlot which was £3 a bottle and has been that price for ages. This week they have increased the price to £4.99p! How can they justify such an increase? Makes me sooo angry.

I was in sainsbobs & was getting the 10p mixing bowls but the SA was repricing all the christmas napkins * tablecloths UP!!!
She said they always do this & then reduce them down again - don't think she was too impressed - I'm sure it doesn't get past the majority of the customers either so why oh why.
I say "THANKS" to posts that make me smile - Oh and really good glitches.:j
Good things come to those who wait:A Bad things come on express delivery:(
