Just two packs of whoopsied lamb mince from Mr T for me today, hoping the 2 for £6 would kick in as I was buying bread too, sadly not and it wasn't even a great whoppsie (£2.45 each) - still at least it was paid for on a card send from Mr Clarke

Hit Boots this morning with a couple of mates (MSE of course) then a couple of Mr Ts after a bit of a rest

Had a lovely day today

only had to pop to work for an hour this morning and then the day was mine and my oh was home today too so we decided on a boots bargain hunt, Went to cwmbran but nothing really much there but i did pick up a few little bits, so hubby said shall we try the one in newport? lol stupid question lol
So we went to the one in the retail park i found 15 shots :T and 15 cheapish vits and some ricola sp? and a few little bits again, not much 75% off stuff there either all going great and paid no problem, checked my receipt later and SA hadnt scanned all my shots so i didnt get the extra discount that i should have got but it was still a really good deal.
We then pooped into the tesco there! Never been in this store before and was overjoyed to find the 18p iloom mixed 5 pack of balloons!!! :j also got some 36's weetabix and found the Ariel liquitabs 33 pack that i paid £2.49 yesterday in my local to find that they were £9! So seems as mine was only store specific.

We then went to newport town centre and again all rubbish left in sale but i did get 15 shots and some vits and sweets, piles of othere stuff too including 2 meal deals as me and OH were now starving, SA said ohh do you think you can get these shots with those sweets? i said yes and she told me no way they are not included! so i told her what the signs said about free shot with any vitamin or herbal product and she still didnt look convinced so i said well i got some yesterday and it worked then, so she carried on and was godsmacked to find that i was right! lol

needless to say we left like this:D
Then sat in the car eating our dinner lol It was really nice just having some alone adult time for me and OH and some fab bargains too


oh and Please can we have Happy Chappy back?? we really miss him please

Hello peeps ... I've not read back (and won't be able to do tonight as I have an assignment to do as part of an interview process ... for a job I would ordinarily jump at but at the moment I'm not sure about) so sorry if this has already been posted.

Just wanted to say the Mr T I went to today (extra) had "spend £40 to get £5 off next weeks shop" ... is this nation wide?

still 15 pages behind

got trouted in boots once donno what's wrong with 18p for 6 shots/ricolas and baby clipper/scissors set? :cool:

anyway went to another one and got the big Champneys set(my only boots sale item ) along with a nice set of 15 shots/vits and an 15 quid item which I returned later(seems to do the job when you go through a manned till with the 15 shots) :j so my Champneys only cost me about 6 quid(or something like that, got fed up with the maths on that one )
