Fingers crossed FK. And bensonsmum I really feel for you and all my thoughts and wishes are with you. I really hope that you get some good news....but at least you now have a diagnosis. Is an awful place to be and I hope you start to come out the otherside soon.

8 out of 10 for me today!!:(

However I would like to dispute the answer to this!!:cool:

9. You're at a stop light and you notice the person in the car next to you - ahem - picking their nose. This is an exercise that you have always personally found appalling. Private gripes aside, what is the best way to proceed?
Your Answer: Roll down your window and holler "Hey! Hey! Stop that!".
The correct answer was Ignore him or her and just hit the gas when the light turns green..

:rotfl::rotfl:

Obviously it 'snot the right answer.

Evening all, hope you all had a great day, i went to the Boots sale, but to be honest was really dissapointed as there was next to nothing left, yet when i went in last night there was loads there - apparently people had been in just clearing the shelfs with a sweep of their arms, i got in there approx 9.30am and only christmas stuff, Gu chocolates and lavender smellies left, so instead i picked up 15 energy shots and 15 vitamins and stocked up on wet wipes and Gu chocolates - as you do!!

Went to M&S and got a couple of Bras and a pack of nick naks for a quid and 50p respectively. Also picked up a couple of pairs of mens PJ's for FIL as needing them whilst in hospital - and only £4!!

Then on to Mr T's picked up a disney princess pencil case set for 36p and also stocked up on the Ken Hom that is 2 x main meals and 2 x sides for a fiver - excellent value!!!

As i was leaving i had a phone call from OH - the news is my FIL has a brain tumour - don't know what type or if they will operate or what treatment will be undertaken yet - still waiting to hear back from specialists, but have been told we will know for sure tomorrow, as they were waiting for a few of them to get together today and look over the MRI scans etc. and decide what will happen next. I rang the hospital and spoke to FIL and he was full of beans, said food was great and could he have his glasses so he can see what the nurses look like - he said they sound lovely but can't be too sure as can't see them ( he is also partially sighted), i asked him if i could take him anything in when i go home on friday and he said a bus ticket out of there - i said its not that bad is it? he said no, but people die in places like this and he wants to make sure he gets his pension for the month first!! - still got a great sense of humour!! i told him i was trying to get cover so i could get home earlier, but he said i should stay where i was as there are bills that need paying and he doesn't want me to get into debt for his sake - love him xxx

hi bensonsmum, i just wanted to offer a few words of reasurance maybe? as i have personal experience of having a brain tumour. It comes as quite a shock at first people just tend to freak out when they hear the words "brain tumour" but they can often be treated, the tumour i have is a prolactinoma which is on the pituitary gland at the base of the brain, i believe its the same type as russell watson had. My treatment is drug based to shrink the tumour, which has so far worked. fingers crossed for you that it can be easily treated ! stay strong x x

Good Evening Folks *waves* I hope you are all well.

I was just wondering, could anyone please tell me what barcode / packet of Iloom balloons I should be looking out for?

I noticed tonight that my local has loads on the shelf and a nearby clip strip but I have no idea what I'm looking for?

Thank you
