I'm off work with an inflamed prostate
dunno about can't wee, I can't stop weeing. Every 15 - 20 mins , dunno how it's possible but about 10 times the amount of liquid is coming out of my body than going in
pmsl (easily done with a prostate problem I head).......yeah I seem to pee like a racehorse these days too!0 -
Also cleared both above stores out of the 4p Littlest pet shop toys.
My mum reminded me of the M&S reductions so spent £7 on about £100 of stuff all 25p or 50p. Got lots of slippers, 1 pair of sparkly kids shoes, bibs, bodysuits, a 2 pk of Thomas belts, magnetic photo frames in pink or black, a small light up owl, kids lipstick and a tin opener :rotfl:
A bit of a random one there!
Was all ruined because a lady and her husband were standing between the SA and the rest of us then grabbing what was being put out and going to another part of the store to see what they wanted out of it all. Poor SA was having to go and get what they'd left to put up on the rails, think she was getting a bit peed off because she told them if they didn't let anyone else near she'd stop reducing things. They wouldn't so SA walked off but told a few of us later roughly what things would be going for acording to their last sale price.
Under £1.50 were 25p and over was 50p HTHSPC #329 £471/£500 banked

Re: Coupons
I have only just started using them but always make sure that they are for the exact item that I am buying. But I don't understand why some people get so angry about someone using them for not the exact item. I am sure that most shoppers don't use coupons so that if a few people used inaccurate coupons for an item, then the other people buying the correct item but without a coupon would offset any anomaly. Confused of Wales.
The information that I've always seen over on the coupons thread, from those in much better knowledge than myself on the subject is that coupons can only be used subject to the terms and conditions and purchasing the specified product.
The reason it annoys me when people flout the rules isn't because T's or A's or wherever are losing money....it's because I think there should be one rule for all and everyone should be able to benefit from money saving equally. If coupon acceptance is rescinded in my store because somebody has been using them to buy any product under the sun and get their shopping ultra cheap, I would feel angry for myself and fellow money savers that are now unable to make ends meet quite so easily as before.
For me at this point in my life, MSE is a bit of a game. I get a real buzz from saving money and distributing my bargains, glitches, and whoopsies to friends, family, neighbours, homeless shelters. But there are people on here that NEED to save money to keep themselves afloat and to survive. I don't know how it works so maybe I shouldn't have such a forceful opinion but all I know is that there are rules printed on the coupons and I would hate for someone to have to suffer because I greedily thought I was above those t's & c's.
And please don't think I'm targetting you personally wendy, I just wanted to have my 2p's worth on the subject in general as it keeps cropping up. MSE is a community and on this thread in particular I'd like to think that we all have community spirit and are thoughtful to the needs of others, sharing the MSE love! :A'There are people who have money and people who are rich' :heart2: Coco Chanel0 -

Boots.com sale has ended
Due to unprecedented demand, Boots.com has now sold through all of our remaining sale stock. However, the 75% off sale is still continuing in our stores. Hurry, stock is selling out quickly.
Hopefully a good sign for tomorrowSPC #329 £471/£500 banked

Thanks Fudge_Cake for the reply. I still think that there will be no problem wth the occasional person using a voucher for the incorrect item because of the ratio of the number of people buying that item compared to the number of people using a voucher. However, I will continue to only use a voucher for the actual item that I should be buying. xx0

I agree IssycI'm not sure how it works, it might be that the transaction has to match up with the coupon in order to gain the credit from the supplier, I don't know, I'm only guessing. And of course, as I said in a previous post on the matter, I've accidently used coupons on the wrong product myself, I just wouldn't want anyone to get the wrong idea and think it's appropriate to do knowingly and on a regular basis. As I said, I just wouldn't want the couponing aspect of MSE to decline as it can be a real lifesaver :A

TBH I'm not surprised they've sold out online this year, all the stock seems to be in the shops, there's TONNES more this year than there ever has been for the 75% sale in previous years! No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries 2023

Ohhhh it's size 4 (or 4+ or 5) that I need for the boys. May take a trip to Belfast tomorrow (sorry but I'm not losing that £4 coupon. Will try not to clear out f'side Boots!).Fudge_Cake wrote: »I'm after a little bit of advice from those in the know about dogs please....pretty pleaseOne of my little ones is poorly with an upset stomach. She's been sick about 5 times...nothing from the other end
(sorry if TMI!) Never had anything like this before, hasn't eaten any grass and it seems that what she's bringing up is all that she's eaten today. She's a little quiet but was fine when we went on a walk. It seems like just an upset stomach to me but what would you do? When would you re-introduce food? And would you do bland chicken and rice or suchlike for a day or 2 to begin with? Thank you very much in advance. I'm sure she'll be fine but she's my baby and of course I worry!
xx
I think the last time my folks dog was sick like that, the dog was nil by mouth (bar water obviously) for 24 hours to settle his tum. After that small bland meals like chicken or dry meal but nothing wet or rich - much as with a human, start with dry toast and work your way back to full fitness.
Have had to turn the TV off as it was getting depressing. Watching '15 kids and counting' and it's making me feelI was expecting familes living off benefits without 2d to rub together and instead I see husbands who are out working, mums who are doing a great job raising their kids, new prams, a big minibus etc etc All I have is an ex who has walked away from 2 wives and 3 kids and all the while I got a cheap pram and a mouthful for spending £20 on a cot but I almost got a decent 2nd hand car until the 1st ex got wind of it and Voldemort cancelled the car in case he offended her (who lives like Lady Muck and has things called holidays and meals out). Where did I go wrong
Please make 2012 my year :A0
